Baby gender reveals have upped their game in recent years, getting more and more elaborate as it goes.

Yet one sport-themed baby reveal didn't go quite as planned, as it saw one expectant mom on the sidelines as her partner celebrated the news.

For US mum to be Hannah, she had the perfect gender reveal planned for her sport loving boyfriend Travis, and perfect to share on her TikTok account. As Travis hit a baseball it would burst to release either blue or pink smoke to confirm the gender of their baby, due in October. So far, so good.

Yet when Travis swung and hit the ball revealing blue smoke for a baby boy, he went wild with celebration as did his friends. So much so that his gang of buddies rushed onto the pitch to congratulate him, leaving pregnant Hannah on the sidelines.

Hannah, who uploaded the sweet gender reveal to her TikTok account, is left watching Travis cheering with his friends as they celebrate another boy joining the gang.

The video, captioned 'We’re sooo ready to meet you' has caught the attention of TikTok users who rushed to check and see if Hannah is OK - unlike Travis.

One user commented: "Don’t forget to hug the momma."

"Bruh the momma ain’t get a hug," said another.

A third chimed in: "Not me wishing I was there to hug her and congratulate her in this special moment."

A fourth added: "Did they forget who was carrying the baby?"

One user even urged Hannah to see it as 'a red flag', writing: "You shouldn't have to justify his actions, his actions spoke a thousand words. Remember this moment for future red flags. Congrats momma, mom to mom."

Boyfriend Travis was overjoyed to find out he's having a son with Hannah.

The video also caught the attention of America's TODAY Show, where Hannah revealed Travis did come and hug her after the video clip ended. In an interview told TODAY Parents, she said: "I didn’t think anything bad about it until I started reading the comments.

"What people didn’t see was how he came over and gave me a huge hug and a kiss right after. We were so overjoyed and excited."

In a follow-up, Hannah also shared another clip on TikTok defending boyfriend Travis. She also thanked her followers for their support. She commented: "Yes, he should have run and hugged me and he knows that and he feels terrible.

"He’s the best boyfriend in the whole world and he’s going to be the best dad."
