Person who lost over 130lbs ‘naturally’ shares the one thing they changed that caused the major weight loss

Dropping a huge amount of weight with this scientific method can change the way you think about unhealthy food

The days of losing a large amount of weight 'naturally' may already seem far away, with millions of people turning to weight-loss injections like Mounjaro and Wegovy to help them shed the pounds.

These drugs, which mimic one of the hormones that makes you feel full to help reduce your appetite, have helped lots of people who have otherwise struggled with controlling their diet to lose weight.

But an increasing number of studies are suggesting that most people end up putting a lot of their original weight back on once they stop taking these groundbreaking health medications, many of which were initially developed to help treat diabetes.

A person who used to struggle with their size before they managed to drop an astonishing 130lbs, has shared their one simple but effective method of severely cutting their body fat, through entirely natural means, and making sure the weight stays off.

Taking to Reddit, a dietary consultant explained their incredible transformation and then broke down how to effectively lose weight using the 'natural' way. Many people get this method wrong and become frustrated at a lack of progress, causing them to drop their plan entirely.

"I began my journey when I was 27. I used to weigh roughly 400lbs and decided that I was sick of being unhealthy and hated how I looked. It was tiring," they explained. "Fast forward a few years later and now I’m a Certified Weight management specialist and help people lose weight naturally."

And their method of weight loss is the most scientific and straightforward, if one of the hardest to follow. Every day, they ate fewer calories than their body had used up.

They said: "If you’re not in a calorie deficit, you aren’t going to lose weight. Understanding how a deficit works in a healthy manner is crucial for weight loss."

Though, there is more to this natural method than simply eating less. After all, if you've just run a marathon and burned 3000 calories, you could eat just about anything and still reach a calorie deficit.

The weight loss specialist said that combining the right forms of exercise with a calorie deficit is key to keeping with the plan and steadily shedding the pounds.

"Strength training and weight lifting is great for building muscle and burning fat," they said in response to one Reddit user. "Weight lifting and cardio go hand in hand. Lifting weight first than cardio after is great for building muscle/burning fat."

This is important as, when the fat in your body is burned off through a regular caloric deficit, not getting the right kind of exercise will leave you feeling much weaker, and make it harder for you to take advantage of your new skinny physique.

Ss for how you drop your calorie intake, sadly the only way is to remove all junk food from your home and diet in favor of healthier alternatives. Not only will homemade nutritious meals be lower in calories, but removing this fat-filled garbage will help you to break the mental pattern which is making it hard to get skinnier.

They explained the transformative effect that making this change on their life, saying: "It was definitely a huge game-changer. Over time I fell in love with healthy food in general as well as dieting & weight lifting as a whole.

"Junk food became a huge turn off for me. Especially from a health standpoint. It’s so easy now to avoid it even if it’s readily available."
