A man with a micropenis has opened up about the sad thing a woman said after learning about his manhood.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, 1.5 in every 10,000 newborns in the US are born with a micro-penis, which impacts around 0.6 percent of the world's population.
A micropenis is when a penis is less than 1.9 centimetres in size at birth, and can develop of any number of reasons, like a lack of testosterone during fetal development.
While you may not know anyone with the condition, you’ve probably heard stories from others who know someone who has a micropenis or has had sexual encounters with those who have one.

A lot of women have reported that they don’t mind having a lover with an inch or two penis, but there are those who find the prospect a little daunting.
For a 26-year-old who appeared on Joe Santagato and Greg Dybec's podcast, Other People's Lives, he had to experience a heartbreaking two-word response from someone he was dating.
He revealed that he first realized his anatomy was different as a child, and it impacted how he saw himself as he grew up and began to date.
Sharing that he would ‘cut’ dating off because he ‘was nervous and scared’, there was a lot of worry for him that he wouldn’t be accepted by his partner.
“That’s how it was for a long time. Still is, to be honest,” he added.
For years, he was unable to get into deep relationships, but there was one time where he decided it was time, and revealed his micropenis to a woman he had ‘proper feelings for’ during an intimate moment.
While he said she was trying to be kind, he knew the prospect was challenging for her.
“She knew it was terrible, which she tried her hardest not to tell me,” he said. “But she’s an honest person as well, and I could tell... I don’t blame a woman for thinking, ‘I don’t want this.’ I don’t blame that at all.”
The pair’s relationship didn’t last but they remained friends.
One day, they were watching a film at the theater when a sexual scene on the screen made her say: “Oh, I’m scared now, I’m nervous.”
Hearing her say she was ‘scared’ was a blow to the man.
He explained: “She’s never dealt with something like this before... so obviously, now it’s her head. She’s scared, and I [start] to feel bad for them.”
He was nervous to talk to her about the comment, and their relationship ended ‘pretty badly’.
A lot of people have their own way of dealing with their micropenis, and for the 26-year-old's case, it has been a tough road.
