Selena Gomez speaks out on her relationship status after rumors link her to Andrew Taggart and Zayn Malik

Same, girl. We've all been there.

Selena Gomez is out there in this cruel, harsh world, living her truth and documenting her struggles as a single gal.

And she's a self aware Queen, by the looks of it.

The 'Hands to Myself' singer took to TikTok to share a bit of insight with her fans about her dating life and, apparently, her internal monologue.

The 30-year-old singer could be seen all rugged up and cozy under a blanket while watching an evening game of football with her friends.

At the start of the 13-second clip, she makes her intentions clear.

"I'm single," Gomez yelled across the pitch.

She then goes on to explain the pros and cons of dating her.

"I'm just a little high maintenance," she yelled again.

She then added: "But I'd love you so much."

Her hilarious attempt at flirting certainly gave some on social media a bit of a laugh, with fans flooding to the social media platform to comment on the silly moment.

One user pointed out Gomez's attempt to score would likely yield better results than a dating app.

"Honestly seems like a better idea than the apps," they wrote.

A second praised her silly streak, adding: "Selena and I really need to become best friends."

A third just wrote: "Real."

Speaking of the hellish landscape that is Tinder, Gomez has previously spoken about dating as a celebrity.

In fact, she even dubbed it 'so cliché'.

"It’s just everyone dates everyone," she told Zane Lowe on Apple Music's Beats 1 radio. "It always seems to be within this little bubble — and it’s because it’s safe."

She continued: "You’re wanting someone to understand what you’re going through, you’re almost wanting a counterpart of creativity as well, and it’s interesting and fun."

She revealed external pressure can be difficult if you're famous and dating.

“The problem with that is you end up, whether you admit it or not, you’re having a relationship for people and not even for yourself," Gomez said.

"There’s almost this point where it’s like, ‘Oh, we’re making it known that we’re together'. Or whatever it is. You just need to decide within our world if it’s for you or is it for show."

During her Saturday Night Live appearance in May 2022, Gomez revealed she had ditched the apps and is 'manifesting love' instead.

"I would like to say that I'm looking for my soulmate," she said. "But at this point, I will take anyone."

Ain't that the truth.

The Only Murders In The Building star was last romantically linked to The Chainsmokers' Drew Taggart after the pair were spotted at a bowling alley together in January.

Prior to that, Gomez dated Justin Bieber.
