Billie Eilish has sat down for the same interview for the sixth year in a row.

The star was first interviewed by Vanity Fair back in 2017, when she was only 15 years old.

At the time, she was doing remarkably well for a 15-year-old, boasting 257,000 followers on Instagram. However, few would have ever predicted just how far she would go in a relatively short period of time.

Every year since, Eilish has caught up with Vanity Fair on 18 October, answering the same questions, and this time around her Insta follower count stood at a staggering 106 million. So yeah, she's come a long way.

It might seem a bit unusual to do the same interview every year, but the 20-year-old looks forward to the annual time capsule.

"It's just so cool to get to do this every year," she said. "I feel like sometimes people are like, 'you're gonna go back and keep doing it?', but I just like it.

"They mean so much to me. Every year I watch these I'm just like - ah, it makes me really happy.

"I feel hopeful, I feel happy and I feel in a good spot in my life right now... nothing like that second year."

Part of the reason she's feeling good at the moment is because of her relationship with singer-songwriter Jesse Rutherford, which she touched upon in the interview.

"I just am really inspired by this person, and, you know, he’s inspired by me," she said.

"It's really cool, and I'm really excited and I'm really happy about it. Say what you need to say, but, like, I am in control right now. I did this.

"I managed to get my life to a point where I not only was known by a person that I thought was the hottest f***ing f***er alive, but pulled his ass! Are you kidding me? Can we just [get a] round of applause for me?"

On top of pulling the 'hottest f***ing f***er alive', Eilish has had a pretty massive year - even by her standards.

Asked about her biggest accomplishments, she said: "I finally got to tour again. I accomplished and finished a whole world tour, didn't miss one date, which was really exciting.

"I headlined Coachella, which was so surreal and insane. I headlined Glastonbury... I got an Oscar."

Well done, Billie.

I had one ambition for the past year and it was to get a corgi. And I still haven't got a corgi.
