Get ready to scream 'yes chef' and 'order up' because The Bear has been renewed for another season.

FX has commissioned a third instalment of the incredible TV series that focuses on the hectic life of running a small restaurant.

Set in Chicago, Jeremy Allen White plays Carmy, a talented chef who inherits his family's Italian beef sandwich shop after the suicide of his older brother.

After working in a Michelin star restaurant, he realizes things are very different at this shop and he works hard to bring the standards up for everyone.

The show has been praised by critics and regular folk around the world has has one of the most impressive ratings on Rotten Tomatoes.

The first season has a jaw-dropping 100 per cent score after nearly 80 reviews and the second instalment is just a touch below on 99 per cent.

The site's critical consensus states: "Like an expertly confected sandwich, The Bear assembles a perfect melange of ingredients and stacks them for optimal satisfaction—and thankfully keeps the crust-iness for extra flavor."

The series was praised for giving a realistic look at the gritty and stressful life inside a restaurant kitchen.

It has been nominated for multiple Emmy Awards, and won a Critics' Choice Award, along with an American Film Institute Award, two Independent Spirit Awards, Golden Globe Award, Dorian TV Award, and several other accolades.

But now we get to see whether they can make it three from three at FX.

The third instalment is set to debut sometime next year on the network.

FX entertainment president Nick Grad said in a statement: "The Bear, which wowed audiences in its first season only to achieve even greater heights in season two, has become a cultural phenomenon.

"We're so proud to partner with Christopher Storer, Joanna Calo, Josh Senior, and the rest of the creative team, as well as the brilliant cast led by Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

"What they and the crew have done is truly remarkable, and we and our partners at Hulu join fans in looking forward to the next chapter in the story of The Bear."

The second season finally saw Carmy's dream of transforming the sandwich shop into a top-notch restaurant.

However, it was a chaotic mission to get to opening night.

We'll get to see how the newly-transformed eatery is going in season three, so buckle up, put on your apron and get ready for another wild ride.
