Prime Video subscribers still can't get enough of a witty and original drama with 93 percent ratings.

If you're fed up of endlessly scrolling to find your next binge-worthy TV series, then let us help relieve the burden.

This 'brilliant and darkly funny' show spans four seasons and boasts an equally-as-popular sequel, due to continue in a matter of weeks.

The Amazon Prime Video original cleverly turns our perceptions of superheroes on its head.

In a world where they are very much real and celebrated, the show examines what would happen if they were seduced by the intoxicating pull of fame and power. Cue Billy Butcher (Karl Urban), an ex special forces agent who leads a vigilante team to take them down.

His crew includes the grieving everyman Hughie Campbell (Jack Quaid), weapons expert Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), the unpredictable Frenchie (Tomer Capone) and the deadly mute fighter Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara).

Their target is The Seven, a super-powered elite run by shady corporation, Vought International.

At the top sits the terrifying Homelander (Antony Starr), while his rising star Starlight (Erin Moriarty) begins to realize that the heroes she once admired may be the real villains after all.

The series in question is called The Boys and it's earned rave reviews from fans and critics alike.

Over on Rotten Tomatoes, the professionals rated it an impressive 93 percent rating, as they said: "The Boys' violent delights and willingness to engage in heavy, relevant themes are sure to please those looking for a new group of antiheroes to root for."

Fans, meanwhile, described it as 'stand-out,' 'original' and 'the best series on TV'.

When its fourth season premiered last June, The Boys drew in over 55 million viewers within just 40 days, according to Variety - cementing it as one of Prime Video’s biggest hits and the platform’s fourth most-watched season ever.

As if 32 episodes across four seasons isn't enough to get your teeth into, The Boys has been green-lit fifth and final season too.

There'll be no worries about a mid-plot cancellation here, thank you - meaning you can binge it safely and in the knowledge all loose ends will be wrapped up.

Not only that, but there are two The Boys spin-offs to enjoy, with another in the works - as well as a prequel on the way.

Animated series The Boys Presents: Diabolical debuted in 2022, then came Gen V in 2023.

The latter, a live-action series, takes place between seasons three and four of the original show.

It follows students at a prestigious college where young 'Supes' are trained to become heroes, as they compete in brutal challenges and uncover dark secrets about their elusive institution.

Gen V has actually been rated higher than The Boys, with its first season racking up a near-perfect 97 percent from Rotten Tomatoes critics.

Its set to continue with eight brand new episodes as season two drops on Wednesday September 17.

Elsewhere, a sequel titled The Boys: Mexico is currently in its early stages, as is prequel Vought Rising which, set in the 1950s, follows two major characters amid a murder mystery during Vought International's youth.

The Boys is streaming now on Prime Video, while Gen V season two premieres on Wednesday, September 17.
