The psychological thriller series actually marked the Hollywood star's small-screen debut.
Adapted from a Gimlet Media podcast, the show unfolds in two seasons as Roberts takes on the role of Heidi Bergman, a caseworker at the Homecoming Transitional Support Center.
The facility is run by the Geist Group that helps US military veterans reintegrate into civilian life.

Four years later, Heidi is living a quiet life as a waitress when a Department of Defense auditor starts questioning why she abruptly left the facility.
With her fragmented memory, Heidi revisits her past and begins to uncover a dark conspiracy tied to the program’s true intent.
The debut season follows two timelines: 2018, vivid and widescreen, shows Heidi deeply immersed in the facility, while the 2022 timeline, narrower and more confined, shows her piecing together the truth after being pulled back into an investigation.
The show ran between 2018 and 2020 and features standout performances from Janelle Monáe, Chris Cooper, Joan Cusack, Stephan James and Hong Chau.
