Valentine's Day is over and done with for another year, and Prime Video has the perfect antidote if you're sick of all things love.
Led by former Nickelodeon star Avan Jogia and ex-Disney actress Dove Cameron, the eight-part series follows a couple, Oliver and Ciara, who meet just before the 2020 Coronavirus lockdown in Dublin, Ireland.
Titled 56 Days, the erotic thriller cuts between multiple timelines as it's revealed somebody is dead in their apartment - but we don't know who, or why.
What we do see, however, is the lovers, blinded by the adrenaline of a new relationship, hastily move in together as Covid restrictions shrink their world.

But their happy little bubble soon bursts, with lockdown creating the perfect environment for secrets to stay hidden.

With no friends, coworkers, or family around to see what’s happening inside the apartment, the relationship becomes more claustrophobic and unsettling.
You might think you know the person sleeping next to you in bed - but do you really?
The new series dropped on Prime Video on Wednesday (February 18), with all episodes available to stream immediately.
Prison Break's Karyn Usher and Betrayal's Lisa Zwerling developed 56 Days, based on author Catherine Howard's 2021 book of the same name.
So far, the series has received a rather lukewarm reception from critics, averaging a Rotten Tomatoes score of 64 percent across 11 reviews.

Don't let that put you off, though - some still hailed it 'binge-worthy' and satisfying.
Karina Adelgaard, of Heaven of Horror, scored 56 Days a four out of five and described it as 'a mystery thriller series that was infinitely better than I expected.'
"Based on the marketing for this show, I expected something along the lines of 50 Shades of Grey. However, this is more murder mystery than lots of steamy scenes," she adds.
There's still a chance for that Rotten Tomatoes score bump up, of course, as more rate the show after its release.
Screen Rant's Matthew Rudoy gave it a six out of 10, sharing his verdict: "As an entertaining thriller that sticks the landing and has enough twists and strong performances to keep things entertaining, 56 Days is worth binge-watching, despite some of its shortcomings."
Finally, Gavia Baker-Whitelaw from TV Guide wrote: "56 Days has enough personality to stand out from the crowd and soon makes its mark as a whodunit, circling a pair of suspects whose motives and life choices are intriguingly enigmatic."
All eight episodes of 56 Days are streaming now on Prime Video.
