Prime Video subscribers are obsessed with a 'must-see' drama described as 'visually striking and emotionally charged'.

From Bojack Horseman co-creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg - whose latest Netflix release Long Story Short has landed a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score - this Amazon Prime Video drama has been hailed 'riveting' and 'absorbing'.

Starring Play Dirty's Rosa Salazar, fans say they were gripped by all 16 of the show's episodes.

So if you're looking for your next binge-watch, then turn your attention to this mind-bending series.

The drama follows Alma Winograd-Diaz (Salazar), a 28-year-old woman living in San Antonio.

Her life feels monotonous, that is until a near-fatal car accident shakes the very fiber of her being and everything she thought she knew.

After the crash, she discovers she has the ability to bend and manipulate time.

Guided by visions of her deceased father, Jacob (Bob Odenkirk), Alma embarks on a journey to uncover the mysterious circumstances of his death.

The twisty drama weaves together sci-fi, metaphysics, family drama, and questions about mental health - cleverly leaving viewers unsure whether Alma’s experiences are supernatural powers or symptoms of trauma.

The animation was produced through rotoscoping; an animation technique where artists trace over live-action footage frame by frame.

So, the voice actors actually performed their roles on set, then animators drew over each frame, creating its fluid, dreamlike visual style.

The series in question is called Undone, and it racked up an impressive 97 percent Rotten Tomatoes score across both its seasons.

"A kaleidoscopic existential crisis, Undone bends the rules of space, time, and rotoscoping to weave a beautifully surreal tapestry that is at once fantastical and utterly relatable," critics said of season one in their verdict.

Viewers rated it 91 percent across both seasons, as one said: "I turned this on just to 'check it out,' and ended up sitting there for hours, watching this absorbing and original and truly dazzling series. Have never seen anything like it, very mind twisty, but not in an arbitrary way, it holds, and makes sense and conveys deeper truths about the mindtrip of existence. I am so impressed."

A second agreed: "Beautiful story telling. I laughed, cried and binged watched the whole season in one sitting."

A third summed it up as 'riveting, original, must-see TV'.

All 16 episodes of Undone are streaming now on Prime Video.
