Prime Video subscribers are only just discovering an 'amazing' TV series with 100 percent ratings.

The streaming service is home to more than 2,800 TV shows, including a 96 percent rated series fans 'can't stop watching'.

But if you feel you've seen every decent thing on the platform already, then think again.

This 'heartfelt' series ran for three seasons, but it resonated so deeply with fans that they said they could have happily watched 15 more.

Originally airing between 2022 and 2024 on HBO, the show is now available to stream through the network's Prime Video add-on.

From Mozart in the Jungle writers Hannah Bos and Paul Thureen, the show follows Sam Miller (Bridget Everett), who returns to her hometown of Manhattan, Kansas, after the death of her sister.

Sam struggles with grief, belonging, and identity, but her life begins to shift when she reconnects with her quirky coworker Joel (Jeff Hiller), who introduces her to a hidden community of outsiders.

She also learns more about the complex lives of her family members, including her sister Tricia (Mary Catherine Garrison), who runs a small business, her father Ed (Mike Hagerty) and her mom Mary Jo (Jane Brody), who each have their own struggles.

Over on Reddit, one Prime Video subscriber asked for 'light and wholesome' TV series suggestions.

"My wife is after a show that's very light but also heartwarming and fun to watch," they said.

"I think the closest example I can think of is The Good Place (or maybe The Dragon Prince, she loved that). Can anyone please recommend something that fits the bill?"

The top answer was, of course, the series in question: Somebody Somewhere.

"The most heartwarming show out there," one person responded.

A second weighed in: "I love that everyone keeps suggesting this. It's such an amazing show."

"Came to say this. It’s the only answer," a third said, as somebody else added: "Just started watching it and it really leaves you feeling better after watching it."

If that's not got you convinced, then perhaps the show's 100 percent Rotten Tomatoes rating will.

Critics were particularly impressed by Everett's 'captivating' performance, adding: "Somebody Somewhere explores the human condition with tenderness, grace, and warmth."

Viewers rated the show 94 percent across its three seasons, as one admitted: "How did I not know about this show? It is fantastic. A show with complicated characters that hit all the emotions. So good."

"Well worth a weekend binge," another said, as a third social media user wrote: "Hilarious, moving, and real dialogue that I would have watched 15 seasons of."

All three seasons of Somebody, Somewhere are streaming now on HBO and via its Prime Video add-on.
