A 'genius' Prime Video series featuring Olivia Colman has been hailed as 'one of the best comedies of our generation.'
Although if you're going into it expecting a light and breezy watch, think again...
Colman currently stars alongside Benedict Cumberbatch in the dark rom-com movie, The Roses, a remake of Danny DeVito's 1989 film The War of the Roses.

The duo lead as a picture-perfect married couple whose lives descend into a bitter yet amusing conflict as resentment replaces romance.
The Roses also features a whole host of famous faces, including Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Andy Samberg, Saturday Night Live's Kate McKinnon, and I, Tonya's Allison Janney.
But Colman also appeared in a 'perfect' Amazon Prime Video series, which ran for two seasons between 2016 and 2019.
The Emmy-winning show has racked up a 100 per cent Rotten Tomatoes score and is a firm re-watch favorite.

The British series is from the mind of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who stars as a witty but troubled woman in her early 30s, living in London.
On the surface, she appears confident, funny and rather promiscuous, but her sharp humor is actually armour, protecting her deep loneliness and unresolved grief.
Struggling to keep her small cafe afloat and navigating strained relationships with her family, she's also reeling from the loss of her closest friend, Boo.

Often breaking the fourth wall, the show combines raw honesty and cutting humor, literally bringing viewers along for the ride.
Its stellar cast includes Stranger Things' Brett Gelman, Ripley's Andrew Scott, Good Omens' Bill Paterson and Harry Potter's Fiona Shaw.

The series in question is the one and only Fleabag, has been hailed as 'clever and viciously funny' by Rotten Tomatoes critics, who scored both seasons a perfect 100 per cent.

Fans rated the show an average of 93 per cent, as one hailed it 'Fresh, rebellious and thought-provoking.'
"Genius! The wittiest series I have seen in a long time," they added.
"This show is perfection," a second agreed, as a third wrote: "A comedy must see! Easily one of the best comedies of our generation."
Despite its label as a comedy, others argue the show is actually a 'rollercoaster of emotions.'
Fleabag swept the 2019 Primetime Emmy Awards, claiming six prizes - including Outstanding Comedy Series, Lead Actress, Writing, Directing, Editing and Casting.
