People are realizing that Robert Pattinson played a very inconspicuous part in Marty Supreme, and you probably didn’t even notice it at the time.
The latest Timothée Chalamet movie has been getting a lot of press recently, thanks to the overwhelming acting chops of its cast.
The flick, which is loosely based on the table tennis pro Marty Reisman, hit theatres on Christmas Day and features the likes of Golden Voice Ted Williams, Gwyneth Paltrow, Fran Drescher, and Tyler, the Creator.
It also has Twilight star Pattinson in the cast list too, but you’ll probably remember that you didn’t see his face in any of the scenes. However, once I point out when he appeared, you’ll know it was him in an instant... just like these social media commenters.

“How did I not peep this,” wrote one person on X, while another said: "Now that I know it’s him… it’s him lol."
So, where was he?

Speaking at London’s BFI Southbank on Tuesday, director Josh Safdie revealed that Pattinson had a voice role in a very tense part.
"No one knows this, but that voice — the commentator, the umpire — is Pattinson," Safdie said, per Variety. "It’s like a little easter egg. Nobody knows about that. … He came and watched some stuff and I was like, I don’t know any British people.
"So he’s the umpire."
Pattinson’s voice can be heard at the British Open semi-finals as Marty Mauser plays ping pong against Hungarian champion Bela Kletzki (Géza Röhrig).

People on X have since been losing their minds, with one person writing: “I feel fake for not noticing robert pattinson's voice in marty supreme.”
Another said: “Honestly surprised no one caught this. Now that I know it's him you can really hear it lol.”

But this isn’t the first rodeo with the Safdie brothers, as Pattinson starred in the 2017 crime thriller Good Time, where he played a man named Connie who goes through hell to help his developmentally disabled brother (Benny Safdie) after he’s arrested.

As for Chamalet, his role has been a highlight of his career.
In one interview that did the rounds on social media, Chalamet said that the role was his best acting role after he gave ‘top-of-the-line performances’ over the last 'seven, eight years'.
He added: “I don’t want people to take it for granted. I don’t want to take it for granted. This is really some top-level s***.”
