Prime Video is home to a 'binge-worthy' Julia Roberts drama that fans have said is a 'breath of fresh air'.
Since her breakout role as Vivian Ward in 1990's Pretty Woman, the legendary actress has continued to dazzle us with her natural talent and effortless charisma. But there's a 98 percent rated Prime Video series that may well have flown under your radar.
It comes as Roberts stars alongside Andrew Garfield and Ayo Edebiri in upcoming drama film, After the Hunt.

Roberts plays Alma Imhoff, a respected Yale professor who's stuck in a conundrum when her colleague Henrik Gibson (Garfield) is accused of sexual assault by her star student, Maggie Resnick (Edebiri).
Early reviews for the movie - set to hit theaters on Friday (October 10), via Amazon’s MGM Studios - haven't exactly been favorable.

But whether you rate After the Hunt or not, you can see Roberts shine in an 'outstanding' Prime Video thriller that's available to stream now.

The series ran for two seasons between 2018 and 2022 and is based on a psychological drama podcast.
Roberts plays the role of Heidi Bergman across two timelines, 2018 and 2022.
In the earlier timeline, she is a caseworker at a facility run by the Geist Group that helps US military veterans transition back into civilian life.
One of her clients is Walter Cruz (Stephan James), a soldier trying to re-assimilate. Over the course of her work, Heidi uncovers discrepancies in how the program is run.

Meanwhile, in the 2022 timeline, Heidi is working as a waitress and living with her mom.

She suffers memory gaps about her time at the facility, but questions from Department of Defense auditor Thomas Carrasco (Shea Whigham) seem to spark her recollection.
The series in question is called Homecoming, named after the ominous facility Heidi worked at.
