Fans have been left shocked by the revelation that two actors in a popular Netflix show are actually siblings in real life.

It's rare to find a pair of siblings both cast in a production together, unless they're twins, like Cole and Dylan Sprouse of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, or if it's a reality TV show about a family - like The Kardashians.

Well, a popular Netflix series - which recently returned for a third season - features two stars who look so alike it's uncanny... or it would be if you weren't told that they are in fact related.

"But they have the same last name and have the same eyes and smile pretty much the whole face except the beard really," one person replied to a Facebook user who was gobsmacked to learn that Joe and Padma, of Ginny & Georgia, are actually related.

Yes, the duo is played by 35-year-old Raymond Ablack and his 24-year-old little sister, Rebecca Ablack.

"Shut up, bc I did not know this! Joe (Raymond Ablack) & Padma (Rebecca Ablack) are real life siblings," the Facebook post read.

To which one user replied: "Bro I was just watching a scene with them 2 seconds ago and was thinking man they look similar."

Although some people came up with the assumption prior to the confirmation, as another user typed: "Called it a while back. I thought they were siblings in the show at first."

While one eagle-eyed fan added: "They look a like."

Adorably, Raymond took to Instagram back in 2018 to share how 'proud' he was of his little sister, after graduating from high school in Toronto, Canada.

He posted: "'Oh how the turntables have...(gulp)'. My sister is the superior R. Ablack at my old high school, Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts.

"She won up all the awards: Drama Award, RJ McCarthy Award, TV, Video and Movie Production Award, Ontario Scholar, 4 year Honour Roll.

"Can you tell I'm proud of her?"

Fast-forward just three years and the pair star together as Joe and Padma in Ginny & Georgia, which has also been renewed for a fourth season.

The pair are not the only actors in the Ablack family, with Rebecca's older sister - who is still younger than Raymond - also having toured with Disney on Ice.

Taking to his Instagram in 2022, Raymond posted: "Cassandra My little sister, @cassandra.ablack_ is touring with Disney on Ice! She's playing Isabella in their new production of Encanto.

"Cass has pursued figure skating her whole life. She loves it like nothing else. Sports can be really unfair and unforgiving and I've seen Cass face some disappointing losses. So, I couldn't be happier to celebrate her victories.

"She's learning new choreography, aerial acrobatics, she's exhausted and her hands are mangled from rope burn. But, she says she's happy. I'm so proud of you Pushta. Congratulations."

While we love Joe and Padma on screen, I think the Ablack family are even more adorable off it!
