Even though Dylan and Cole Sprouse were kids when they were filming The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, they still knew what was right and wrong.

Kim Rhodes, who played their on-screen mom on the Disney series, has revealed the incredible response Dylan had to a joke in the script.

She explained on the Back to the Best podcast, that they were always sticking up for her.

"One of my favorite memories is Dylan had a line that was a fat joke, and he just kept skipping over it," she said.

"It was like in the middle of a chunk of dialogue, so he kept skipping this laugh line and skipping it and skipping it and skipping it.

"And finally we get to [taping] in front of the studio audience and he skips it and the executive producer screams, 'Cut!... Dylan say the line'."

She explained that it's only really the director that is meant to yell 'cut', so it was pretty odd that the EP would jump in and end a scene like that.

Kim explained this moment came at a time when she was pregnant and she said the show 'dealt with it by making fat jokes'.

Rhodes said Dylan's response was out of this world.

He reportedly told the crew: "I would not disrespect any woman that way, let alone this woman.

"You write something funny and I'll say it."

That's a baller move for any actor, let alone a teenager.

Kim was so proud of her 'little man' for defending her and making sure her character wasn't the subject of an insensitive punchline.

The show recently celebrated an incredible milestone.

It aired on the Disney Channel from 2005 to 2008 and yet there was a mention of 2023 in one of the episodes.

The scene in question shows the twins at an Italian restaurant and the Maître d' tells the pair she'll have a table for them on November 16, 2023.

We've now officially passed that day and everyone was hoping the boys sat down for some pizza or spaghetti.
