People are flooding to social media after watching a movie of 'comedic perfection' released onto Netflix.

It's a Sunday, you've had a long week at work and it feels like the 100th week of January. However, don't fret, the end is in sight so, why not celebrate in the best way how?

By that, I mean by settling down, grabbing some snacks and watching a movie, which people are saying is the perfect 'lazy day' watch, and it's just come onto Netflix.

The film was first released in 2021 and was directed by Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly.

And it stars the likes of Heroes' Kristen Bell, Wedding Crashers' Vince Vaughn, The Good Place's Kirby Howell-Baptiste and singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha.

Based on a true story of a real-life couponing scam, the film's official synopsis reads: "A housewife and her friend come up with a scheme to scam millions from big conglomerates through coupons. A loss prevention officer teams up with a postal inspector to track them."

It was classified as a flop at the box office with Paramount+ and Showtime having bid on the rights to the film for over $20 million, as per Deadline, and it only going on to make around $1.2 million upon release.

Kicking it down even further, it also has a meagre Rotten Tomatoes score - 48 percent on the tomatometer - but since coming onto Netflix, it's finding new life, achieving a commendable 82 percent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

It was a flop at the box office, but not on Netflix.

Netflix users are also flocking to social media to give their views on the release - titled Queenpins.

Taking to X - formerly known as Twitter - one user said: "Queenpins on Netflix was the movie I needed on my lazy day >>>."

"That movie Queenpins on Netflix is so good and it had hella familiar faces andddd it was inspired by true events," another added.

A third commented: "Found Queenpins on Netflix…. Casually watching and in pops Vince Vaughn. I swear to God if there was ever a low point in life I needed Vince Vaughn, it was now. It’s time for a VVOD weekend."

"Wow y’all fake for not telling me Queenpins dropped on Netflix I love Kristen Bell bout to watch all now," a fourth wrote.

And a final resolved: "Queenpins on Netflix was a happy dose of comedic perfection."

The film has been received as 'comedic perfection'.

And the movie is now doing so well, it's even made the Netflix top 10 list in the US.

One viewer wrote on 21 January: "The film 'Queenpins' starring Bebe Rexha is in 2nd place in the Top 10 films on Netflix U.S."

So, what are you waiting for? Queenpins is available to watch on Netflix now.
