Could this be your new comfort watch?

A sitcom dubbed the 'perfect' watch is available to stream now on Netflix.

The platform enjoys roaring success with its original TV shows - like this newly-released '10/10' teen drama labeled 'Elite on steroids.'

But sometimes, it's non-original shows from other networks can go overlooked. And honestly? They're some of the best!

With a Netflix catalogue of more than 7,000 titles, it's pretty easy to miss out on some binge-worthy hidden gems here and there.

But if you're searching for a new comfort show to become your 'constant rewatch,' then look no further than this one.

Better yet, it features actresses who have gone on to become some of today's biggest stars. Think Bridgerton's Nicola Coughlan, Renegade Nell's Louisa Harland and The Decameron's Saoirse-Monica Jackson.

The teen sitcom takes us to Europe, more specifically, 1990s Northern Ireland. Set in Derry, the drama unfolds the during the final years of the Troubles.

This was a period of violent conflict from the late 1960s to 1998, mainly between Irish nationalists - mostly Catholics - who wanted unification with the Republic of Ireland, and Ulster unionists - mostly Protestants - who wanted to remain part of the United Kingdom.

The show follows Erin Quinn (Jackson), her cousin Orla (Harland) and their friends Clare and Michelle (Coughlan and Screw's Jamie-Lee O’Donnell) as they navigate the trials of adolescence.

From first crushes, family drama and school life, it all plays out against a backdrop of political unrest and cultural divide at their all-girls Catholic secondary school.

The series premiered on Channel 4 in the UK in January 2018 and ran for three series, concluding with a special 45-minute episode in May 2022.

Netflix acquired international streaming rights shortly after the first series aired.
