A clever dark comedy fans reckon is even better the second time round is leaving Netflix this August.

Every month, the streaming service shakes up its digital library - for better or for worse.

While it makes room for dozens of exciting new additions, it means we must bid farewell to some of our favorite TV shows and movies.

The series in question started life on AMC and has racked up an impressive 91 percent Rotten Tomatoes score.

The genre-defying show stars Schitt's Creek's Annie Murphy as Allison McRoberts, a woman trapped in a toxic marriage with her boorish, immature husband.

On the surface, their life resembles that of a stereotypical sitcom - complete with canned laughter, slapstick humor and a brightly lit multi-camera setup.

However, when Allison is alone, the show switches to a dark, single-camera drama as both her resentment and desire to escape mount.

The show has earned a spot among fans' rewatch staples, with many calling it 'the best thing' they've ever watched.

So, no wonder, so many are said to see the 16-episode series leave Netflix so soon.

The show we're saying goodbye to is Kevin Can F**k Himself, a play on Kevin Can Wait, a sitcom starring Kevin James, which also only had two seasons.

Taking to Rotten Tomatoes, one fan said of the show: "I just rewatched and it's honestly even better the second time - flawless performances by all and a real delve into the complicated angles of being a person."

A second agreed: "This show was ahead of its time. The way they use lighting and comedy to portray an abusive marriage is f**king brilliant," as a third declared it an incredible TV achievement.

Kevin is set to depart on Friday August 18. You can check out the other shows scheduled to leave Netflix in August here.

Taking to the dedicated R/KevinCanFHimself Reddit community, one person warned: "Just a heads up - if you are planning to re-watch this show, hurry up. Kevin is leaving Netflix on August 18, 2025."

Naturally, fans weren't impressed. "I am getting a bit tired of chasing favorite shows from one streaming service to another..." one person complained.

"Didn't they just get it?? Damn," a second sighed, as a third praised it as a 'hidden gem.'

There is some good news, though; there's still time to stream it, as fans have admitted to binge-watching the entire show in just one day.

"I'm glad I watched it recently. I'd been meaning to give it a try and wound up binging it in a few days," another social media user said.

All 16 episodes of Kevin Can F**k Himself are streaming now on Netflix until Monday, August 18.

After that, both seasons are available via AMC+ as an add-on to an Amazon Prime Video or Apple TV subscription.
