TV fans think they've found the next best thing to Grey's Anatomy.

There are currently 19 seasons (and counting) of the well-loved hospital drama that first aired in 2005.

It boasts an all-star cast and has seen the likes of Patrick Dempsey, Ellen Pompeo, Killing Eve's Sandra Oh and Katherine Heigl walk the halls of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital - previously known as Seattle Grace Hospital.

But, with many having watched all of Grey's Anatomy that's available to stream, some fans have been looking for another hospital drama to fall in love with.

One that viewers have been raving about is The Resident, with all six seasons now being available to watch on Netflix.

The synopsis given for the show reads: "A group of doctors at Chastain Memorial Hospital face personal and professional challenges on a daily basis."

It stars Emily VanCamp, Matt Czuchry, Manish Dayal, as well as The Fall of the House of Usher star, Bruce Greenwood.

One person recently took to Facebook page Netflix Bangers to ask people's thoughts on the show, and they were quick to receive a positive response.

They asked: "Anyone watch this before? Is it good!?!?"

"Loving it!!! Binged 24 episodes in a week that's unlike me," one person replied.

"It’s soooo good I love this show," wrote another, as a different person added: "Love This Show You Won’t Be Able To Turn Away Once You Start."

Comparing it to Grey's, someone else said: "Love it like I do Grey's Anatomy."

Another person on X went as far as saying that they 'like it more than Grey's Anatomy'.

Meanwhile, someone else hailed it as 'one of the best' medical shows available.

As it stands, the show boasts an impressive 75 percent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, as well as 7.8/10 on IMDb.

With it's popularity in mind, many will be disappointed to know that The Resident has been cancelled after six seasons by Fox.

Entertainment Weekly reported last year that following the release of season six (which concluded in January 2023), Fox decided to bring an end to The Resident.

Another series that Netflix subscribers have been raving about of late is The Gentleman.

The gritty show is the brain child of Ivan Atkinson and Guy Ritchie, and boasts a very impressive cast.

The series only dropped on the streaming platform last week - but fans have already labelled it as 10/10.
