Netflix subscribers are still raving over an 'honest' drama starring Michael Douglas.

The actor made headlines recently after revealing the supposed source of his tongue cancer.

Douglas, now 80, was diagnosed with cancer after a mass was found in 2010.

Thankfully, after aggressive treatment, it went into remission by early 2011.

And away from the Oscar-winning icon's hit movies, he's also starred in a top-rated Netflix show.

So if you're looking for your next binge-watch, get adding this TV series to your list.

From TV legend Chuck Lorre, the show premiered on Netflix back in 2018 and concluded with its third and final season in 2021.

And well after its ending - between January 2023 and June 2025 - it's been viewed for 26.3 million hours, as per FlixPatrol.

It centers around Sandy Kominsky, (Michael Douglas), a former actor who now works as a respected acting coach in Hollywood.

Through the ups and downs of his day-to-day life - and in the company of his lifelong friend and agent, Norman Newlander (Alan Arkin) - Sandy grapples with aging, changing relationships, loss and what it means to keep going when the spotlight has long faded.

The show features an impressive cast, including Danny Devito, Emily Osment, Haley Joel Osment, Graham Rogers and Melissa Tang.

The show in question is The Kominsky Method, and it was scored 93 percent by Rotten Tomatoes critics across all three seasons, with its second and third achieving perfect 100 percents.

Of its first season, critics said: "Full of humor and heart, The Kominsky Method paints a surprisingly poignant - if a little paint-by-numbers - portrait of life and aging, elevated by two top-notch performances by legends Alan Arkin and Michael Douglas."

The show was recently brought it on Reddit, where one Netflix subscriber asked for 'absolute must-watch' recommendations.

"I feel like Netflix always shows me the same stuff on the home page and am sure there are hidden jewels, which I’m not aware of because I don’t know how to search for them in the first place," they admitted. Perhaps they should give these game-changing Netflix codes a go...

Anyway, among the recommendations was, of course, The Kominsky Method, which viewers claimed to 'love.'

This sentiment was echoed in the show's Rotten Tomatoes reviews, as one audience member dubbed it the 'best thing on Netflix'.

"Funny, entertaining, romantic, sad, and some wonderful actors of yesteryear," they added.

A second social media user said: "The humour and snark are so natural, the drama so honest, every episode feels like regular s**t between friends.

"Phenomenal acting. Intelligent scripting without being pretentious."

A third agreed: "Wonderful TV show with Michael Douglas at his best! Absolute must see!"

The Kominsky Method is streaming now on Netflix.
