The film is called Burning Betrayal, a steamy Brazilian production that was adapted from Sue Hecker's provocative novel, O Lado Bom de Ser Traída, which roughly translates to 'The Good Side of Being Betrayed'.

What is Burning Betrayal about?

Burning Betrayal is set in São Paulo and follows that of an accountant, Babi -played by Giovanna Lancellotti.

After learning of her fiancé’s infidelity before their wedding, viewers are treated to Babi's journey of revenge - or self-empowerment - as she joins a bike club, dyes her hair dark and crosses paths with Marco, who she nicknames 'the hot judge'.

Following this, she's then swept into a 'torrid affair' with her new lover, and features wall-to-wall steamy scenes from kitchen counters to beaches - and even biking action scenes in between.

What films does Burning Betrayal compare to?

The movie has been compared to the world-renowned Fifty Shades of Grey, as well as the Sex/Life - which follows a married suburban mom Billie Connelly, played by Sarah Shahi, who begins chasing her sexual fantasies.

The film stars Anna-Maria Sieklucka and Michele Morrone as Laura and Massimo, who start out in a toxic relationship and arrangement before later falling in love.

"Inevitably all the actors have impeccable physiques and the sex scenes do show some imagination in terms of activities and positioning. It couldn't really have got more explicit without having to be differently categorised."
