A raunchy Netflix movie has divided viewers due to the overwhelming sexual content in the storyline, with some claiming the flick is 'better suited' for Pornhub.

According to viewers, the sex is 80 percent of the film contains some sort of sex, and despite it being dubbed as 'soft porn' fans are still urging others to flick it on as it's 'worth watching'.

Now, we've compiled together everything you need to know about the film - including who stars in it, as fans have raved about the 'impeccable physiques' of the cast and the imaginative sex scenes they feature in.

The film is called Burning Betrayal, a steamy Brazilian production that was adapted from Sue Hecker's provocative novel, O Lado Bom de Ser Traída, which roughly translates to 'The Good Side of Being Betrayed'.

    What is Burning Betrayal about?

Burning Betrayal is set in São Paulo and follows that of an accountant, Babi -played by Giovanna Lancellotti.

After learning of her fiancé’s infidelity before their wedding, viewers are treated to Babi's journey of revenge - or self-empowerment - as she joins a bike club, dyes her hair dark and crosses paths with Marco, who she nicknames 'the hot judge'.

Following this, she's then swept into a 'torrid affair' with her new lover, and features wall-to-wall steamy scenes from kitchen counters to beaches - and even biking action scenes in between.

What films does Burning Betrayal compare to?

The movie has been compared to the world-renowned Fifty Shades of Grey, as well as the Sex/Life - which follows a married suburban mom Billie Connelly, played by Sarah Shahi, who begins chasing her sexual fantasies.

While others are reminded of 365 Days, a romantic thriller which has scored a trilogy of movies, which is based on the first novel of a series of books written by Polish author, Blanka Lipińska.

The film stars Anna-Maria Sieklucka and Michele Morrone as Laura and Massimo, who start out in a toxic relationship and arrangement before later falling in love.

So who are these incredibly attractive cast members then?

Well, as mentioned earlier, main character Babi is played by Giovanna Lancellotti, while the 'hot judge' Marco is portrayed by Leandro Lima.

Then you've got Babi's close friend Paty, played by Camilla de Lucas, while Micael plays Babi's cheating fiancé Caio.

What are viewers saying about Burning Betrayal?

"Every second, people are without underwear, no story, nothing except sex," said one user on social media.

While over on IMDb, another wasn't a fan, as they wrote: "I watched this expecting a steamy thriller. Instead I got soft porn with a bit of a storyline. If you like looking at naked or near naked bodies, of both genders, there are plenty of scenes to choose from.

"Inevitably all the actors have impeccable physiques and the sex scenes do show some imagination in terms of activities and positioning. It couldn't really have got more explicit without having to be differently categorised."

With someone else adding: "If it revealed any more, it might have been better suited for platforms like Pornhub."

However, over on Rotten Tomatoes, one user posted: "I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. The music was great and there were artists I had to Google because I had not heard of them, especially loved IZA's song, Dona De Mim.

"Beautiful cinematography and beautiful people. Because the critics tore it apart, you know it had to be worth watching!"

What are Burning Betrayal's ratings on IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes?

The 2023 release currently has an impressive Rotten Tomatoes rating of 87 per cent on the Popcornmeter, with a few reviewers praising the lead's chemistry and 'impeccable' production.

However, on IMDb, it scored an underwhelming 4.2 out of 10 - although it still managed to receive a 10/10 by two users on the platform.
