Mark Wahlberg Puts Tom Holland's Gift To Use After Thinking It Was For 'Self-Pleasure'

The Uncharted star thought Wahlberg gave him a sex toy, of sorts - but it was actually just a high-end massage tool.

Mark Wahlberg gave Tom Holland a generous gift during Uncharted. He thought it was a sex toy – obviously, that wasn't the case.

While Holland is unarguably one of the biggest movie stars in the world, with Spider-Man under his belt and a Fred Astaire biopic on the way, he's only been in the film industry for around 10 years; so, what do you do when Wahlberg gives you a present? You nod and smile.

During a recent interview, Holland recalled going over to the Ted star's home while shooting the upcoming video game movie Uncharted, and walking away with a gift he believed was designed for 'self-pleasure'. Hilariously, it was just a massage gun.

Check it out:

'Mark Wahlberg was kind enough to give me a massage gun after I left his house in LA and he drove me back to my hotel,' Holland told Access Hollywood.

'I was confused as to what kind of massage gun this was, having never seen one before, and I thought it was the type of self-pleasure. I thought Mark Wahlberg was driving me back to my house for other reasons other than just being a gentleman. I didn't know you – it's Hollywood, baby. Who knows what's gonna happen?'

Wahlberg revealed the present was a Power Plate Pulse massage tool, and he was just trying to help him with muscle recovery. 'I can't believe, the whole time, you were thinking that. Gotta get your head outta the gutter, buddy,' he told Holland.

In a new video posted to Instagram, Wahlberg pokes fun at Holland by actually demonstrating the gun.

'Mr. Tom Holland! You see this? Power Plate Pulse – this is a massage tool for muscle recovery, nothing else. It is the quietest, [and has] the longest battery life,' he says in the clip, before getting his doctor to use it on his shoulder after 'swinging the club too hard'.

In Uncharted, Holland plays iconic PlayStation hero Nathan Drake, while Wahlberg plays his older partner-in-crime, Sully.

'Street-smart Nathan Drake is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor 'Sully' Sullivan to recover a fortune amassed by Ferdinand Magellan and lost 500 years ago by the House of Moncada,' the official synopsis reads.

'What starts as a heist job for the duo becomes a globe-trotting, white-knuckle race to reach the prize before the ruthless Santiago Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs. If Nate and Sully can decipher the clues and solve one of the world’s oldest mysteries, they stand to find $5 billion in treasure and perhaps even Nate’s long-lost brother... but only if they can learn to work together.'

Uncharted hits cinemas on February 11 in the UK.
