Mark Wahlberg crashed frat party at daughter's university and said it was more fun than Vegas

While promoting his latest project, Mark Wahlberg has revealed how he gatecrashed a frat party at his daughter's university.

I think the majority of people would like Mark Wahlberg to gatecrash their party, but perhaps the one person who wouldn't welcome it is his daughter.

Well, that is exactly what the famed actor did with his daughter earlier this year as he paid a visit to a frat party at his daughter's college.

While the 52-year-old may have never gone to university, he got a taste for chaotic college life earlier this year.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Wahlberg, who was promoting his latest project, The Family Plan, revealed he attended the frat party while visiting his 20-year-old daughter Ella back in September.

Wahlberg's shock party appearance came during parents' weekend at Clemson University, and he was certainly impressed by what it had to offer.

He said: "They were having the most fun I've ever seen anybody have, ever! Even more than her coming to Vegas. I was at the frat house and, you know, a couple of spots in town.

"It was nuts. Parents' weekend was incredible."

It was touched on during the interview that Wahlberg never attended college, though the actor joked he would still be there now if he had attended.

"I would still be at the frat house," he joked. "I'd be a 25th year senior, yeah."

Michelle Monaghan, Wahlberg's Family Plan co-star, then chimed in: "The grandfather, the patriarch of the fraternity!"

Wahlberg then replied: "Oh, that's actually another movie idea right there! You just gave me a new movie."

The Planet of the Apes actor is currently doing the media rounds promoting The Family Plan ahead of its release on Friday (December 15).

While Wahlberg is regarded as one of hottest properties in Hollywood, the film's director, Simon Cellan Jones, told UNILAD last month that the actor was very 'simple' to work with.

The Family Plan tells the story of Dan (Wahlberg), an assassin-turned-dad who is trying to hide his true identity from his family.

Dan had moved away from his life as an elite government assassin to a quiet suburban surrounding as a devoted husband and father of three.

But Dan's past soon catches up on him, as enemies from his days as an assassin end up tracking him down.

Dan subsequently packs up his unsuspecting wife and children into their minivan where they take an impromptu road trip to Las Vegas — but will everyone make it out in one piece?
