Jane Fonda says Hollywood director asked to sleep with her to find out what her orgasms were like

Jane Fonda alleges she was sexually harassed by a director she worked with on a movie.

Jane Fonda alleges she was sexually harassed by a director she once worked with on a movie, saying he wanted to 'find out what her orgasms were like'.

Since the 'Me Too' movement was reignited in 2017 as a hashtag on Twitter, many women in the TV and film industry have spoken out about sexual harassment, violence and abuse they've faced at the hands of men.

And among those women is Jane Fonda.

In a recent episode of late-night talk show Watch What Happens, host Andy Cohen asked Honda to name 'one man in Hollywood who tried to pick [her] up once that [she] turned down'.

And the 85-year-old didn't shy away from naming the director straight away.

In response to Cohen's question in a round of his infamous game 'Plead the fifth,' Fonda said: "The French director René Clément."

Clément - who passed away at the age of 51 in 1996 - and Fonda worked together on 1964 thriller Joy House in which Fonda stars as Melinda, the niece of a wealthy widow who falls for card sharp Marc.

When questioned whether or not it was 'a sloppy pass', Fonda alleged the director 'wanted to go to bed' with her because of a very specific reason.

Fonda continued: "He said that the character had to have an orgasm in the movie and he needed to see what my orgasms were like."

And as for Fonda's reaction at the time?

"He said it in French and I pretended I didn't understand," the actor added, before warning Cohen: "I have stories for you kid, we don't have time."

Fonda's revelation received fits of laughter from the studio's audience and host, as well as Cohen calling the incident 'amazing,' however, other viewers didn't have quite the same reaction, taking to social media in outrage.

Condemning the director's alleged behaviour towards Fonda, one Twitter user said: "Men are disgusting."

"The things directors and producers got away with in the day smh," a YouTube user wrote.

And a third resolved: "Jane needs to write a book about all her 'experiences' like the ones she mentioned here!"

Fonda's alleged experience with Clement wasn't the only bombshell she dropped on the episode either.

She also revealed she's allegedly seen Michael Jackson naked, after the King of Pop visited her while she was on the set of On Golden Pond and suggested the pair skinny dip.
