Three days holiday at Universal Studios will set you back an eye-watering amount

After playing Hogwarts Legacy, you might be tempted to visit Wizarding World at Universal, but you'll have to rob Gringotts before going.

After playing Hogwarts Legacy, you may be tempted to hop on a plane and visit Universal Orlando to fully immerse yourself in the Wizarding World.

But before you do though, be aware that just a three-day visit will set you back an eye watering amount – even before air fares.

One theme park fan, @ORLMagicalGetaway, even broke down the amount on their TikTok page and showed just how much customers can expect to spend while visiting.

It’s important to note here that visitors could face even higher fares, as the creator based their figures on the average spend of a family of four.

Even with this, the average cost of a three-day ticket will set you back a whopping $440.90 (£367.49) per person.

Whilst this does give you access to all three parks including, including Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay - it doesn’t come with a fast pass.

Factor in a local hotel, which costs roughly $154 ($128.36) and you are already near $3k in costs, without food or drink.

Speaking of meals, food can be between $40-60 (£33-£50) per day even without snacks.

And if want to make the most of all three parks, you'll need to add $50 (£41.68) for additional expenses as well as another $50 per day for car hire and $27 (£22.50) for daily parking at the various resorts at Universal Orlando.

Potterheads will feel the pinch after visiting the Wizarding World.

And if you want souvenirs, such as the iconic Gryffindor scarf, you’ll need to budget roughly $200 (£166.7) for this too.

It bring the total average cost for a family four is a staggering $3,776 (£3,147.30) for the short break.

Honestly, it's enough to make you want to rob Gringotts bank!

Whilst you might be about to turn into Moaning Myrtle after hearing this, the video does offer some advice in separate video about how to keep the costs down.

They advised visitors to carry a water bottle as this will save you an average of $3-4 (£2.5-3) per day and you can refill for free at most Coca-Cola machines in the parks.

You can also take advantage of free car parking on Tuesdays if you purchase two adult tickets from the Cinemark Movie Theatre.

If you are still looking to save, which most of us are right now, the TikTok creator tells visitors to eat away from the parks.

Instead, they should visit Citywalk which is just a stone’s throw away and a fraction of the price for restaurant food.

It won’t help you much after adding flights though, with the cheapest economy flight costing £659 ($790) on Virgin Atlantic.

I think we’ll just stick to playing the game for now.
