One husband made a simple error that left his family in stitches as they opened boxes of 200 McDonald's nuggets.

A happy little accident left a family laughing themselves silly as they realized they had been sent 200 McDonalds nuggets instead of 20.

These are the kind of accidents I need in my life.

TikTok user @lynn_j_goat, real name Jessica, shared a video to her page showing the blunder that saw her family in laughing fits as they realized how many they had.

The clip has gone viral on the social media platform and has been viewed more than 9 million times since it was posted on January 19.

Users were stunned at the scenes as there isn’t even enough room on the countertop to put all the boxes of nuggets.

In a follow up video, Jessica explained how the whole thing unfolded and clarified the mishap was actually from 2017.

“Number one, it was an accident, my husband ordered McDonalds when we lived in California in 2017.

“We had my parents fly in because I had my son and we lived out there, they came every year for a few weeks.

“They came and we ordered McDonalds through Doordash,”

“My husband was obviously doing the DoorDash order and we all just wanted burgers. Three burgers and then two orders of 10 piece nuggets.

“My husband went on the DoorDash app and instead of hitting the 10x, ten nuggets, he put the quantity in as X20.”

She also added that at one point she thought she was being pranked.

Admittedly, these would be the kind of pranks I want to see more of.

Even if you and your family hadn't eaten all day, getting through those nuggets would be a challenge.

Jessica noted that when the family was done eating, they went to a local area that regularly had homeless people and fed a bunch of them.

So, quite the happy ending.

Social media users still couldn't believe the husband wouldn’t notice the price difference though, and joked their own bank accounts would take a hit if they made the same blunder.

“That's a beautiful story. also this is how you know you're not doing too bad in life, when you can accidentally order 200 dollars or so of food and be ok. my bank account would freak out,” joked one user.

“I'm so glad you were able to feed the homeless with warm, fresh food and even extra sauces! I bet that was such a great thing for your son to have witnessed,” another said.

“I love that you fed the hungry it was a happy mistake hungry people were fed on your husbands silly goof up lol,” commented another.
