A TikTok star broke down in tears after opening up about making an honest mistake while at the airport.

Social media influencer Jos, also known as @nnnnylsoj to her 1.8 million TikTok followers, said she felt 'humiliated' before her trip to London.

The 21-year-old posted a video to her page of the incident on May 24 and explained that she mistakenly checked in the wrong bag at Austin International Airport ahead of boarding the plane.

Jos attempted to rectify the situation and spoke to a female Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agent about the issue.

The TikToker said that the agent took her through the check-in line to 'switch her bag out' and to return via the priority line to check in once she was done.

However, according to Jos, the TSA agent began being rude to her and a different agent apparently yelled at her for being in the wrong line.

When she tried to explain that the female TSA agent had told her she could go through priority, the woman allegedly denied this and told her to go through the normal line, rather than priority.

She claimed that the two agents as well as other agents began ‘making fun’ of her and Jos said the whole encounter felt ‘humiliating’.

The situation was only made worse when Jos alleged she was laughed at more for failing to push her luggage properly on the conveyer belt to be checked by security.

Speaking to UNILAD, Jos recalled how she tried to rectify the situation after uploading the tearful video to TikTok.

Many of her fans encouraged her to report the incident and to take it further as they insisted that she wasn’t being overly sensitive.

However, this didn’t prove to be as fruitful as the influencer would have hoped.

She said: “I decided to call the airport and they transferred me over to the TSA department, where I then spoke to someone over the phone.

“I told them exactly what happened and they directed me to speak to the supervisor working. I went back to TSA with my boyfriend, he saw a police officer next to the supervisor desk so he decided to go up to the officer and ask if he could get the woman’s name since she was still working and we saw her.”

Jos claimed the police officer was also rude and seemingly wasn’t interested unless she wanted to file a police report.

The influencer noted that she confronted the supervisor herself and again explained what had happened.

She said: “I decided to go up to the supervisor myself. I then told the supervisor everything that had happened. I told him how I cried how I felt like all of them were rude for no reason, the supervisor apologized on their behalf, and said that he would speak to the team.

“The TSA emailed me ‘Unfortunately, we are unable to respond to your inquiry based on the information you have provided. Please provide additional details regarding the type of information you are seeking so we can assist you’.

“It’s frustrating and upsetting.”
