Woman who was struck by lightning reveals exactly what she saw during near-death experience

A woman who used think there was no afterlife was shocked when she was struck by lightning and her perspective changed forever.

Elizabeth Krohn was just outside a synagogue in Houston, Texas, when she claims she was hit by a lightning bolt.

She was just 28 years old and a mother of two when the event happened in 1988, and states that something very strange happened during this incident.

While people have explained they’ve gone through extreme pain and even seen otherworldly things when lightning has struck them, Krohn says she was transported somewhere else.

The woman said she was walking with her son to the synagogue, holding an umbrella in one hand, when everything changed in her life.

She said in an interview with Coming Home, on YouTube: "We started walking, suddenly, there was like a chill in the air. And it felt like static electricity. My hand was right in front of me and I looked down and thought, 'This is stupid, I shouldn't be holding the umbrella like this.'"

Just as she thought this, she was hit.

The mom recalled: "As soon as I thought 'let go, just let go of the umbrella,' a large bolt of lightning hit the top of the umbrella.”

Immediately after, she said she saw herself lying on the ground before recognizing her life had ended.

She said: "As soon as I realised I was dead, a light appeared. The light was wholesome. It was alive. The light was conscious. And it wanted me to follow it.

"It led me to a place that I called the garden. It wasn't a garden like you would think of here on Earth. The words don't exist to really adequately describe the place I was in. Everything was perfect. This place was heaven."

That’s when she said she met God, but he was presented to her via the voice of her late grandfather who had died one year before her near-death.

She claimed she was given a choice, stating she was told: "'You can go back, you can stay here'. There was a beautiful path in the garden and it led to a mountain range that was off to the right. Apparently, if I decided to stay, I would take this path over the mountains.

"The entire time I was there, everything was so perfect, there was nothing I could have asked for. Everything I needed was right there. Why would I go back?"

During her time, she was told something about her future that made her want to return to her life.

She claimed: "He said 'there was more you had planned to do in this life. You will have a third child, it will be a girl'. He said 'she has already picked you and your husband to be your parents. You can either go back now and finish. You're 28 years into it. Or, you can start over.'

"That made it pretty easy. I need to go back and just finish the job."

When she woke up, she chose not to tell anyone until sometime later, but she wasn’t believed. However, she believes she was sent back for a reason, and strangely, she did go on to give birth to a baby girl.
