Pansexuality is a sexual orientation where someone is attracted to people regardless of gender, reflecting Yungblud’s view.
The singer spoke with Paul C. Brunson in 2025 on the We Need to Talk podcast about his sexuality and hook ups.
“I’ve f****d everyone under the sun and that’s the vibe,” he said. “And I love love. And if it’s a vibe, it’s a vibe.”
The topic came about as Yungblud discussed accusations of ‘queerbaiting’, a marketing or storytelling tactic in which creators hint at, suggest, or tease LGBTQ+ relationships or identities without actually living or depicting it authentically. This may be done to attract LGBTQ+ audiences who believe the individual or the character is also part of the community. It’s usually discussed in the context of TV, movies, music, or social media, where audiences feel misled or underrepresented.
Yungblud didn’t hold back when chatting about the scrutiny about the queerbaiting accusations, which may be why he was so bold about who he sleeps with.
The clip is once again making the rounds on social media, with fans celebrating his forwardness.

“I like how he can be so articulately inarticulate in a way I understand,” one person on Reddit gushed.
“Wow. I’m under the sun and I had no idea,” someone else joked.
Other fans noted that this isn’t the first time he has spoken frankly about who he’s attracted to, while a third person shared: “I kinda like that he’s like, ‘here is my sexuality. No queerbaiting and all around answers. I will not tell you anything more about my exes. I will just repeat one sentence in different words again and again.’ Message is clear.”
Yungblud has been in the news again after he performed as part of an Ozzy Osbourne tribute at the Grammys earlier this month.
