Rebel Wilson reveals she was banned from Disneyland

The happiest place on earth... unless you break the rules

It may be the 'happiest place on earth', but you better not mess with Disneyland, or you will be banned - just ask Rebel Wilson.

Wilson, 43, has confessed that she was banned from the Anaheim theme park after breaking one of its rules:

The Pitch Perfect actor revealed that she was locked out of Disneyland for 30 days simply for taking a selfie.

Apparently it's against the rules to take selfies in Disneyland's 'secret bathroom', and it landed Wilson in hot water with the Magical Kingdom.

Explaining the situation to comedian Hasan Minhaj, Wilson spilled: "I did get banned from Disneyland for 30 days because I took a photo in a secret bathroom inside Disneyland, which is illegal at Disneyland, and I got officially banned for 30 days."

But it wasn't so bad for a celeb like Rebel, since Team Disney were happy to let her chose when the ban would take place.

She continued: "They called me up and said, 'Rebel, what 30 days do you not want to come to Disneyland?' and I said, 'Oh, June would be fine!'"

Minhaj, who was guest hosting The Daily Show, told Wilson: "That's how I know you're a celebrity.

"Like, Disneyland has Met Gala rules where they're like 'no photos here', and then you break it and they're like, 'look, we have to punish you, but looking at your Google Calendar, what month works for you?'"

UNILAD has approached Disneyland for a comment.

Rebel Wilson said she got banned from the 'happiest place on earth' for 30 days.

Elsewhere in the interview, Wilson spoke about the bizarre phenomenon of Disneyland gangs, which are essentially groups of adults that walk around the theme park in matching outfits 'doing gang stuff'.

Rattling off some gang names, like 'Children of Thanos', 'The White Rabbits', and 'Coco Locos', Wilson explained how it worked.

"One of the initiations was that you had to steal the apple from the Snow White ride. And the apple kept getting stolen so many times that they had to make it a hologram," she said.

Wilson, who coincidentally happens to be a massive Disney fan, added: "Don't ask me how I know about Disneyland gangs because I will not say."

Suspicious, if you ask me.

In fact, Wilson is such a big fan of Disneyland that it's where she got engaged to her partner Ramona Arguma last month.

Wilson and Arguma first revealed they were a couple in June 2022, and have been loved up ever since.

The star shared a post on social media to announce the happy news with her fans.

"We said YES! Thank you Tiffany and Co for the stunning ring and to Bob Iger and the incredible team at Disneyland for pulling off this magical surprise," she wrote.
