Visitors to Disneyland in recent years are likely to have witnessed the Evil Queen's wrath at some point during their visit, but a recent development caused her to be removed from the theme park.
The effusively mean actor who played the iconic role has revealed why she was told to leave by Disney management, after fans expressed their sadness at the Anaheim, California park's loss of one of its most dynamic characters.
The performer behind many of the viral videos of Snow White's villain tearing into park attendees, Sabrina Von Bogenberg, shared why the House of Mouse decided to let her go in an interview with NewsNation.
According to Von Bogenberg, the reason she had been fired was nothing to do with her growing viral fame, at least, not to her 'knowledge'. Instead, it turns out that the Evil Queen had broken one of Disney's internal rules.

Regarding whether her internet infamy had contributed to her sacking, the actor said: "If that is the case, they did not make that aware to me. But, you know, sometimes we don't get the whole part of the story."
Despite the speculation circling among Disney fans, Von Bogenberg explained that she had been dismissed from the highly sought-after role for a minor infraction.
"It came down to something I think a lot of people would be surprised about - really just something with breaking a rule," she said in the interview.
After being pressed on her infraction, the performer explained that lots of guests at the park had heard her character was being phased out.
With her role getting a lot of attention on social media, lots of Disney fans were coming up to her so that they could ask about whether she would be vanishing from the 70-year-old park - but it was her response that led to bosses showing her the drawbridge.

Von Bogenberg explained: "Guests approached me, after somehow being aware of it too, and a video of me, just not really disclosing anything but saying if guests want the Evil Queen around, go tell City Hall and make your voices known.
"And ultimately, that was a rule broken."
While this might seem like an extreme response to a well-liked worker, the Disneyland staff have long had to follow a number of extremely strict rules to maintain the 'show' for the park's thousands of daily visitors.
These include never pointing with one finger, or telling a guest that you 'don't know' the answer to their question, and even just wearing more than one ring on each hand. Additionally, only natural hair colors are allowed and visible tattoos can't be on the face, head or neck and must be no bigger than the person's fully extended hand.
But most important of all these rules for performers at the park is, of course, to remain in character at all times. So, canvassing park attendees to ask Disney bosses to keep her job is, probably, not what the Evil Queen would do.
