Zendaya has opened up about some of her 'red flags' in a candid conversation with Robert Pattinson.
The two actors sat down ahead of the release of their upcoming movie The Drama, a romantic comedy directed by Kristoffer Borgli which sees the relationship between an engaged couple thrown into disarray after a shocking revelation.
So, it's safe to say that relationships were high on the list of topics for the pair's chat for Interview magazine.
And when it comes to relationships, red flags are a massively important way to spot if someone is the right fit for you.

Whether it's someone having a bad relationship with their mom or not having a steady job, there are any number of potential red flags, and of course this is far from confined to romantic situations as well.
Zendaya opened up about some things that she might watch out for.

Speaking in a more professional context, she said: "One that works for us at work is how people treat their crews. I admire people who are kind to everyone, not just the actors, directors, or producers.
"A very telling thing is how a crew feels about a particular actor, because they get to see how people are when the cameras are not rolling."
Animals are often involved in red flags - like if someone's dog or cat doesn't like someone for example.
Pattinson asked: "If someone looked at your dog in a funny way, is that a red flag?"
And Zendaya was very clear, replying: "I would get into a fight over my dog, for sure."
She added: "Dogs are a good judge of character."

But of course there's also just having a 'gut feeling' about someone that you meet, either positively or negatively, and Pattinson questioned whether Zendaya could know someone 'within seconds of meeting them'.
Zendaya acknowledged that sometimes you can get off on the wrong foot with someone, saying: "Yes and no? People are layered and complex and they make mistakes. There are cultural differences."
Nonetheless, she was clear that this is not always the case, adding: "But there are also things that are just kind of, 'Well, that’s rude. That’s mean.' And there’s also the opposite. You can know someone for a long time and they can change, or you get to know them on a deeper level and you’re like, 'Whoa. I didn’t see that side of you'."
The star also explained that she doesn't like surprises, adding: "Let’s be upfront with the crazy."
