Fans left baffled over Will Smith’s latest post with wife Jada Pinkett Smith after damning revelations

Jada Pinkett Smith has fans confused all over again after the couple pose for wholesome pictures.

Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith have been at the centre of a lot of media attention recently after Jada revealed in her recent memoir, Worthy, that the couple have been separated since 2016.

In a bombshell interview with Today, she recalled that the pair were living separately but hadn’t actually divorced because of the promise they made to each other.

The Matrix: Resurrections star said to Hoda Kotb: “I made a promise that there will never be a reason for us to get a divorce.

“We will work through whatever.

“And I just haven't been able to break that promise.”

Talking about why the two still haven’t sorted their issues out, she continued: “I think just not being ready yet.

"Still trying to figure out between the two of us how to be in a partnership, and in regards to how we present that to people, you know?”

And now fans have been left very baffled after the pair shared a range of wholesome, family Thanksgiving pictures to their Instagram accounts.

The Men in Black star can be seen giving his wife a kiss on the head, as well as a collection of other family photos with their children and parents.

Jada captioned her post: “A perfect Thanksgiving Day.

“I hope yours was as well.”

While Will wrote for his: "Best Thanksgiving Ever! (That’s Mom-Mom with her 9 grandkids!!)".

And everyone in their comment section was pretty confused, with one person writing: "I’m just so confused about y’all life!"

Another said: "Look like a married couple to me not a separated one."

While a third said: "I'm confused lol."

However, many were quick to praise the photos, calling them a 'beautiful family'.

After reading her memoir, Will gave a response to Jada's claims, saying that it ‘kind of woke him up’.

In an interview with the New York Times, he said: “When you’ve been with someone for more than half of your life a sort of emotional blindness sets in, and you can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties.”

And in another interview with Today, Jada further clarified her relationship status with her husband.

the 55-year-old claimed that people had ‘missed the point’ she was trying to make.

“We are working very hard at bringing our relationship, yes, bringing our relationship back together... back to a life partnership, yes,” she told Hoda.

“Husband-wife marriage for me, for my healing process. I came into that with very specific ideas, right? Very specific ideas that were blocks. To me just seeing Will to who he is. He can’t be this perfect idealised husband.

“I have to be able to accept him for the human he is. He accepts me for the human that I am, and we want to love each other there.

"We really have been working hard.”
