Timothée Chalamet has sparked intrigue among fans as he finally addressed claims that he is the secretive British rapper EsDeeKid.
For months now, the Dune star has been hounded by rumors that he has a secret alter-ego, after eagle-eyed fans noticed that EsDeeKid’s eyes bore a striking resemblance to his.
Very little is actually known about the rapper, who reportedly hails from Liverpool, UK, as he performs with much of his face covered and hasn’t let slip any identifying details about his life away from the music scene.
This has led many fans to speculate that the resemblance is more than just a coincidence, with several supporting the theory that Chalamet may be playing the public by posing as the rap artist instead.

When asked directly about the wild theories on Thursday (December 11), the Marty Supreme actor did very little to quash them, instead adding further fuel to the fire with a very cryptic response.

While appearing on Heart Radio to promote his new film, Chalamet, 29, was asked point-blank whether EsDeeKid was his alter ego.
Yet rather than deny it, he teasingly responded: “I got no comment on that. No, I mean, I got no comment.”
Not giving up on the theory, the show hosts then went on to point out the similarities between both stars, in particular the shape of their eyes and the fact that they had both been seen wearing the same skull scarf.
This prompted Chalamet to add: “I’ve got two words on that. Two words: All will be revealed in due time. That was a little more than two words.”
While any confirmation still remains elusive, it wouldn’t be the first time Chalamet had dabbled with music if it did prove to be true.
A viral video featuring the actor circa 2012 sent fans into a frenzy as he performed as his own rap alter-ego ‘Lil Timmy Tim’ while in high school.

“Let me tell you, Lil Timmy does not have the same ring to it,” he said.
The actor has also been a vocal lover of rap music and hip-hop for much of his life, often citing artists such as Kid Cudi and Nicki Minaj as some of his favorites to listen to.
He even played a rapper on screen while starring alongside Pete Davidson in a 2020 Saturday Night Live skit, complete with a ridiculous name: $mokecheddathaassgetta.
