Seth Rogen shares new tattoo in tribute to late dog Zelda who he loved ‘more than words can describe’

The actor showed off his latest piece of ink

Seth Rogen has shared his new tattoo in a heartfelt tribute to his late dog Zelda whom he loved ‘more than words can describe’.

The Pineapple Express star took to Instagram on Thursday (7 September) to share with his 10.2 million followers the latest ink he got as a way to memorialize his pooch of nearly 14 years, who sadly passed away back in May.

The fresh piece of ink, which appears to be located on the inner side of one of Rogen's arms, is of the little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel's face with her name written in a minimalist cursive style underneath.

The 41-year-old captioned the post: "I’ll miss this little girl forever but now she’s just a glance away at all times."

Rogen made sure to tag the tattoo artist, Docta Woo, who also posted a picture of the tattoo to his own Instagram account captioning the snap: "For Zelda, with you forever."

The actor previously announced Zelda's death to fans earlier this year, also taking to Instagram to break the news.

He captioned a series of photos of the pup with: "We said goodbye to our perfect girl Zelda on Thursday, May 4th. She was almost 14 years old."

Rogen went on to call Zelda 'truly the most special, magical creature'.

"She taught us about love, resilience, strength and kindness," he continued. "We loved her more than words can describe. Everyone who met her saw what a unique little puppy she was."

The Super Mario Bros. star recalled: "She’d stare in to your soul with her gigantic buggy eyes. She was so judgmental, that when she loved you, you really knew you earned it, and it made you feel like you had won."

Rogen added that Zelda 'had an incredible life' and 'was lucky to have so many friends and shared her special love with so many people'.

"She was a girl who was so shy no one adopted her as a baby who became a girl who travelled to multiple countries, appeared in three movies, on two magazine covers, and inspired countless works of Zelda-art— including a lighter that is now in the homes of hundreds of people," he added.

The actor then shared a 'long list' of things that were 'special' about her.

Amongst the 14 Zelda 'highlights' included: "How it feels when she stretches while I’m holding her in my arms," and "How incredible it felt to wake up in the morning and see her starring back at me."

Rogen concluded the post: "We belonged to each other and we will miss her forever."
