Ryan Reynolds reveals the one thing that would make wife Blake Lively divorce him

Yes, it has something to do with Deadpool

You can't scroll through Ryan Reynolds or Blake Lively's posts together without a seeing a swarm of #couplegoals infiltrating the comments.

And yet, despite being the epitome of couple goals, there is one thing that would officially break them up.

Whilst promoting his little indie film, Deadpool and Wolverine, Reynolds has obviously been proving his worth as Marvel's self-proclaimed 'Jesus' and resident foul-mouthed super knob, by hilariously carrying himself through every interview with the same bravado of his titular character.

Naturally, he's been asked a lot of questions about his wife, who he's been married to for 12 years, and their four children, James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4, and Olin, 1.

And, again naturally, he's been so hilariously unserious with almost all of his answers.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on July 22, Reynolds gushed about his experience working on Deadpool and Wolverine sharing, "It was the best filming experience I've ever had."

His enthusiasm prompted host Jimmy Fallon to ask if there would ever be a Deadpool 4, which Reynolds swiftly shut down citing, quite hilariously, that Lively would leave him if he ever did.

"Oh God no, my wife and children will divorce me," Reynolds said to which Fallon retorted with, "The kids will divorce you?"

"Jimmy, I have no prenup with any of them. I will be capital 'B' broke and, in turn, then doing Deadpool 4 'cause I'd need the money," Reynolds replied.

While Reynolds was obviously joking (or was he?), the convoluted filming and promotional schedule of Marvel films would put anyone off.

So, we can't imagine the lengths the parents had to go through to make it all work for Deadpool and Wolverine.

For her part though, Lively has been unequivocally team Reynolds for the past few weeks, supporting him at the film's New York premiere and shutting down some divorce rumors herself.

Over the weekend, a fan commented underneath one of Lively's Instagram posts: "You and Ryan need to post more of each other, there were rumors going around that you two got divorced and I didn't believe it because you two are literally the perfect couple."

The actress swiftly quipped back and said, "haha they wish."

Although Lively may not be a fan of a potential Deadpool 4 right now, she might have a change of heart soon. I mean, if the rumors are true and she is in fact playing Lady Deadpool in Deadpool and Wolverine, she might even be starring alongside Reynolds in the next one.
