The Midnight Club actor Ruth Codd has shared an update with her followers after undergoing a second leg amputation following an injury she suffered when she was just 15.
Codd, who has also appeared in The Fall Of House Of Usher and the UK reality series The Celebrity Traitors, has now spent 14 years dealing with the repercussions of the injury which took place when she was playing soccer.
The incident caused nerve damage in the actor's leg, and when surgeries failed to help her pain, Codd underwent her first amputation below the knee in her early twenties.
In late November 2025, Codd then announced on TikTok that she was having a 'full circle moment' as she planned to move back to her parents' house to create TikTok content.

The reason for this, Codd explained, was because she'd undergone an amputation on her other leg.
She continued: "It's just that this foot, I was on crutches for the bones of eight years and the way I used my crutches I was always kind of on my tippy toes."

This move had 'destroyed' Codd's joints, and doctors couldn’t do anything to repair the damage.
Fast forward to this week, and Codd took to her Instagram story to share an update which indicated she was back to carry out her usual habits of 'world domination and winding up middle-aged white men' after a 'brief hiatus'.
"New legs loading," she added, indicating she may be getting prosthetics in the near future.

Codd has previously admitted she was 'stuck in a really bad mindset' due to the injuries to her legs, telling the Irish Examiner she 'didn't see it getting any better'.
Explaining how she first hurt herself, Codd said: "I was just messing around in school and fell over playing soccer, which is the worst part because I don’t even like soccer. At least I could have gone out in blaze of glory doing something that I loved but – no!
"It took eight years of my life, constantly going in and out of hospital," she said of the injury, before she finally underwent her first amputation.
"When I made the decision to amputate it, things finally started to turn around. It was a relief. I could get on with my life," Codd said.
Following the second amputation, Codd has continued to make light of the situation as she took to TikTok to share a comment which claimed a 'stand-up' comedy career was dead for her, with the actor turning the camera to her wheelchair with a shocked look.
