Robert Irwin has issued an apology on social media after making a rather embarrassing blunder while grabbing some food out at a restaurant.
Irwin, a conservationist and the son of the famous late Steve Irwin, took to social media to apologize after making quite the mistake while eating out, explaining that it was actually a rather funny story.
Irwin, 21, explained that he is currently road tripping across the east coast of Australia and stopped off at a coastal town Coffs Harbour to grab some food.

In the video Irwin continued to explain he found a restaurant, The Jetty Pavilion, that was pretty rammed and popular.
Being a pretty recognizable face, Irwin explained he was slightly mobbed by fans, many asking for pictures and wanting to say hello.

His food was made quickly and he was out the door, unfortunately, the star explained he forgot to do one simple thing.

He forgot to pay for his meal, and joked he didn’t intend to start his ‘career of crime’ now.
He said: “I just did the old dine and dash and I didn’t even realize I done it, I felt terrible. I reached out and asked them if they want my credit card details, or venmo the [restaurant], how do you want me to do it because I had left Coffs Harbour.
“They said ‘we love what you do, sorry for the mixup, just leave us a good review.”
And Irwin insisted he would do one better, making a video apologizing for his mistake and promoting the restaurant on his page to his 7.6 million followers.

Despite the restaurants saying it was completely fine, Irwin insisted on his next return to Coffs Harbour, as he knows he will be returning, he will be handing in the money for his meal in person.”
Many of Irwin’s fans praised him for the funny story and sweet gesture to the business.
