Rihanna is once again being hailed as 'iconic' after an incredible clip was shared to social media of her twerking at the wedding of the son of the richest man in India.
The singer-turned-businesswoman dusted off her dancing shoes to perform at the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, where she was reportedly paid more than $6 million for the privilege.
Despite facing criticism for the apparent lack of enthusiasm in her performance, 36-year-old Rihanna appeared to be having a great time at the after party, where she danced away with guests, including Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor, who shared a video of them on Instagram.
In the clip, the singer and Kapoor can be seen dancing back-to-back, swinging their hips together in unison, before Rihanna prepares to launch into full-on twerk mode.
But right before she does, the hitmaker appears to pull back, as she pulls a face that suggests she's just remembered where she is and decided against the iconic moves.

"Rihanna wanted to go fully wild on the twerk but then realized it would be too much for India," one fan commented, while another added: "What a moment!!!"
"This looks so iconic," a third wrote, while a fourth added: "Baddie started twerking on this banger."
The singer appeared carefree during the celebration after performing at the pre-wedding gig, where more than 1,000 guests looked on, including the likes of Ivanka Trump, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg.

While Rihanna's voice sounded as incredible as ever, fans came to the conclusion that the singer simply "don't give a f***" about performing anymore, while others claimed that she never has.
“People acting like Rihanna hasn’t always performed like this… I LOVE Rihanna but I always tell people her concerts have been some of the most boring I’ve been to,” one fan wrote.
“Never has [cared] lol, that check must have cleared before the performance. She said at least I showed tf up,” another user joked.

In fairness, Rihanna has been pretty busy in recent years, after welcoming two children with partner A$AP Rocky while continuing to run her Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty empires. Who can blame her if she just wants to take the check and run?
