Ava Phillippe, the daughter of Reese Witherspoon, has called out trolls for 'toxic' body shaming comments on TikTok.

While social media companies have tried to take steps in recent years to prevents trolls from thriving, they are very much still about.

Many famous faces have hit back at trolls, including P!nk and Taylor Lautner.

Now, Ava has taken to TikTok to address some of the comments that have been left on her TikTok account.

She posted two separate clips on the popular video platform - one about people body shaming her and another about people leaving mean comments about her tattoos.

"Pretty is as pretty does, babes...& bodyshaming [sic] is simply toxic behavior," Ava wrote in the caption to the video discussing body shaming.

She added: "P.S. I put 'woman' because I see this type of thing happening disproportionately to young girls & women, but let me be clear; bodyshaming [sic] is toxic no matter who the subject is. We all deserve to feel safe & at peace in the vessel we live in."

Ava was applying red lipstick to the background noise of No Doubt's 'Just a Girl'.

She rolled her eyes before smearing the makeup across her cheek.

Over the TikTok clip, she wrote: "[No big deal] but I just achieved a major milestone as a woman online...

"I saw two different strangers commenting on my body,' she continued. "The first said I should get on Ozempic because I'm too fat... The second accused me of starving myself because I'm too thin."

Ava dubbed the comments coming her way as 'bullis***', before adding: "No one deserves to be picked apart for what they look like.

"You don't always know what someone's gone through or what they struggle with.

"My weight did not change in the time period between their comments (& it wouldn't be any of their business if it did!) It's such bulls***."

And she ended the TikTok with a defining message.

"But no matter who you are... our beauty exceeds such superficial measures," she wrote.

In the second TikTok clip, Ava was seen wearing a sleeveless cami with her tattoos on show.

An audio clip over the video could be heard saying: "'I'm like, who is the girl next door? That's why she's next door. I don't want to know her. I have no desire to be that.

"At the end of the day it doesn't matter what anyone thinks but you."
