Millie Bobby Brown has revealed why she refuses to pay for a Netflix account despite making millions of dollars as a teenager.
Millie Bobby Brown and the rest of the cast from Stranger Things have been pretty recognizable stars for quite a few years now and have definitely taken away some tasty paychecks.
Obviously, the amounts they have been able to take home stems from the Netflix show’s immense popularity as fans of it have watched these child stars turn into adult actors.
But while many of the cast have starred in other films and shows, Brown has been a lead in many of her other projects with Netflix specifically.

Most notably, Brown was a lead in film Enola Holmes and its sequel, Damsel and most recently the film The Electric State, that saw her star alongside Chris Pratt.

Earlier this year, while promoting the film, she was asked whether all of her Netflix projects meant that she got a free subscription from the streaming giant and the star gave a surprising response.
Speaking on Capital FM, she said: “I’m still using my parents’ account.
“I kind of refuse to pay for the subscription because my parents pay, and I’m still a child, in my eyes, and in their eyes. So yeah, I’m part of the family deal.”
This statement from Brown has started to do the rounds on social media again, and stunned many fans of the actress. Most notably because it has previously been reported that Brown has been a millionaire for years, something you would imagine would make her wealthy enough to afford her own subscription.
From Stranger Things alone, following a salary negotiation ahead of season 3, Brown was reportedly on $250,000 an episode.
According to a Cosmopolitan report, this salary then increased to $300,000 for season 4 and 5.

Not to mention the modeling and her other film works, Brown is certainly earned a pretty sum, with her estimated net worth being around $20 million.
While Brown hasn’t received flack for her comments, some X users were surprised to learn that Netflix doesn’t give its stars a free subscription as a given.
One X user wrote: “Netflix makes their actors pay for subscriptions?! THE GREED.”
Another added: “Dang L doesn’t even get a Netflix subscription? They really hate password sharing.”
A third wrote: “Netflix really said 'family plan' and Millie said bet, even with millions in the bank.”
And another commenting: “Netflix won't even comp her a free account after making them billions? The greed jumps out.”
