People online are freaking out after seeing a recent image of Good Luck Charlie’s Mia Talerico as she reaches an important milestone.

We all remember the shows we used to watch as kids, or even the shows our kids watched.

They hold a certain kind of nostalgia that’s only reserved for wholesome things.

Good Luck Charlie, a US sitcom made by Disney, is certainly one of those things that can be put in that category.

Having run from April 4, 2010, to February 16, 2014, the show appealed to the whole family and showed viewers life as busy working parents, teenagers and of course, a toddler.

If you’ve yet to watch the show, it focuses on the Duncan family, who are adjusting to life after the surprise birth of their fourth child, Charlie.

When Amy and Bob (the parents) return to work, they then enlist the help of their three oldest children to take care of the new baby.

From there, you can only assume what kind of mischief and comedy stems from teens looking after a little tot.

Charlie (Mia Talerico), P.J (Jason Dolley), and Teddy (Bridgit Mendler) add the most to the comedic factor. Add in Teddy’s video diary, which gives Charlie advice about life as a teen, and it’s highly relatable.

However, as it ended 11 years ago, it’s easy to put the cast out of your mind.

That is, until a new picture surfaces, which makes you confront just how much time has passed.

For viewers of the show, this came in the form of Talerico’s photograph announcing she’s entering 11th grade and is now a junior in high school, with people barely recognising her.

The actress posted on Instagram on Wednesday (August 20): “First day of Junior Year. Wish me good luck.”

She also posted about her 'sweet 16' birthday party last year, which had people absolutely not believing she was the 'same age' as them.

Upon realizing that little ‘Charlie’ is 16, people had a range of different emotions wash over them…but mostly, it was that they’re feeling way too old right now.

One person wrote on X: “We are getting old.”

Another said: “she's all grown up now!”

Someone else commented: “okay I get it I’m old”

Another said, “Wow that’s crazy. She’s all grown up, time flies”, as a user broke it down: “Wild to think the baby from Good Luck Charlie, Mia Talerico, is already in 11th grade, when did we all get this old?”

Others shared how they ‘literally watched her grow’ up, while some reminisced about the ‘memes’ she gave to the internet with her hilarious dialogue and facial expressions.

Talerico’s time on the show began as a literal baby, and while you might think some memories of her cast-mates would stick, apparently, she’s forgotten who she worked with.

Even though the cast remained close and even reunited for Mendler’s engagement party to Griffin Cleverly in 2019, Dolley, who played Charlie's oldest brother, was shocked that she didn’t remember them.

He said in an E! News interview: "It was so strange because we all knew her, and she was looking at us like she knew she was supposed to know who we were but genuinely did not know who we were.

"It was like, ‘Oh right, her brain was still forming when we were carrying her around the set’."
