Just days after making her Broadway debut and Megan Thee Stallion had to be rushed to hospital with extreme exhaustion.
On Tuesday (March 31), the 31-year-old rapper started feeling 'very ill' while on stage and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to her representatives, Megan was told that the 'concerning' symptoms she was experiencing were caused by extreme exhaustion, dehydration, vasoconstriction, and low metabolic levels.
"Megan has since been treated, discharged and is now resting," her rep told The Guardian on April 1, adding: "Megan is incredibly grateful for the prayers and well-wishes from her supporters and is looking forward to resuming her role as Zidler in Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Thursday."

Now the 'Savage' hitmaker has addressed the incident for herself with an extremely honest post shared to social media where she gave a health update.

Alongside a photo of her on stage, she penned on Instagram yesterday: "Last night was a real wake-up call for me. I’ve been pushing myself past my limits lately, running on empty, and my body finally said enough. It honestly scared me. I thought I was gonna faint on stage, I really tried to push through my performance but I just couldn’t."
Megan continued: "Hotties I wanna be real with y’all because you mean everything to me and I hate letting yall down. I just need one day to rest, reset, and take care of myself the way I should have been."
She promised to be ready to 'give 100%' by the time she was due back on stage today (April 2).
"Thank you for always riding with me and loving me through everything," the Grammy Award winner ended her statement.

Dozens of her famous friends have replied to the post sending their warm wishes to the star.
"We love you," wrote SZA, as John Legend replied with a string of prayer-hand emojis.
Empire actress Taraji P. Henson added: "Baby girl take care of yourself!!!! I was so worried about you. So glad you are better."
"We love you Meg. Take care of yourself first," added The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore.
It was announced back in February that the 'Sweetest Pie' rapper would be taking to the stage in New York City. She started her run on March 24 and is expected to perform in the hit Broadway show until May 17.
The musical itself will close on July 26, ending a seven-year run on Broadway. The show and its cast are then going on a world tour and will visit the UK and Europe.
