Mandy Moore has praised Hilary Duff's husband after he took aim at Ashley Tisdale after the High School Musical alum shared how she 'broke up' with her friends after realizing it wasn't the 'right group' for her.
In an essay she penned for The Cut, titled 'Breaking Up With My Toxic Mom Group', Tisdale spoke about how she began noticing the group she was part of started doing things without her.
She wrote: "At first, I tried not to take things personally. It’s not like people aren’t allowed to get together without me — and maybe there were perfectly good reasons that I hadn’t been invited. We were all busy, life was hectic. I told myself it was all in my head and it wasn’t a big deal."
It wasn't long until internet sleuths began attempting to work out who was part of the group in question, and many suggested that the likes of Hilary Duff, Meghan Trainor, and Mandy Moore could be involved.

However, Tisdale's representatives denied these claims, saying that 'there’s zero truth to what online "detectives" think they’ve cracked', and her essay was about a 'completely different group of friends'.
Nonetheless, it's had a lot of people talking, and Moore has broken her silence following the piece, where she heaped praise on Duff's husband Matthew Koma.
Koma was in the audience for Moore's appearance with her husband Taylor Goldsmith at the Concert for Altadena benefit.

The 38-year-old recorded footage of the singer performing the 1999 classic 'Candy' and later posted it to his Instagram Stories with the caption: "Candy babies @mandymooremm."
Moore reshared the clip to her own Story and praised Koma.
She wrote: "This feels incredibly fitting as @matthewkoma happens to be one of the most talented and generous humans I'm lucky to know (he literally gave my family a place to stay one year ago today when we evacuated). Love you, MB!!"

Koma previously took aim at Tisdale after sharing The Cut piece to his Instagram Stories.
Writing over the image, he blasted: "A Mom Group Tell All Through A Father's Eyes.
"When You're The Most Self Obsessed Tone Deaf Person On Earth, Other Moms Tend To Shift Focus To Their Actual Toddlers."
He rounded the spoof off with the caption: "Read my interview with @thecut."
