Liz Hurley has given a much-needed update on her romance with Billy Ray Cyrus after the singer read out their private text messages.
It's a pairing few of us had on our Bingo cards for 2025 when the 59-year-old British actress nonchalantly dropped a cosy pic of her with the famous Cyrus patriarch with the simple caption: "Happy Easter."
Billy Ray, who only finalized his divorce with Firerose last year, sported green Easter bunny ears and wrapped one arm around Hurley while planting a kiss on her cheek in the snap.

That's all we had as evidence of the pair's apparent romance - until the 'Achy Breaky Heart' hitmaker finally lifted the lid on Apple Music Country's The Ty Bentli Show, stating the two first met while filming Christmas in Paradise in 2022 where there was 'chemistry' between them in the few short scenes they shared together.

However, it would be another two years until things started heating up, as the 63-year-old was embroiled in a rocky period of his life with the impending divorce to Firerose, which finalized in August 2024, and Hurley reached out.
And now, the Austin Powers star has broken her silence on the relationship.

Speaking to the Daily Mail while at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation 2025 Hot Pink Party in New York City on Tuesday (May 13), Hurley said she is 'very happy in my new relationship'.
"Billy's a lovely man and we make each other very happy," she added.
However, she appeared to dodge questions about whether she's had chance to 'spend time' with any of Billy Ray's sprawling famous brood of six children, which includes superstar Miley Cyrus.
The Cyruses are rumored to be in a bit of a spat at the moment, which all started when Trace Cyrus penned an open letter that the family were worried about his father's mental health.

Trace later claimed his dad threatened him with legal action over the Instagram post less than a week later, while Billy Ray's ex-wife weighed in to echo some of Trace's concerns.
The other five have been notably quiet, with only Noah and Braison lending their support to their father's music while Miley herself was dragged into it earlier this week when she squashed rumors that she'd had a fall-out with her mom, Trish Cyrus.
In the post, Miley added: "My dad and I have had our challenges over the years. Now, in my thirties, family is my priority above all else.

"I’m at peace knowing bridges have been built and time has done a lot of healing. Grateful for the good health and love that flows through my family."

Billy Ray's blossoming relationship with the British actor appears to have put a spring in his step too, revealing on the podcast that Hurley came along when he was at rock bottom.
He said he had a message from an unrecognised number that read: "Hey, it looks like life might be a little bit tough and just wanted you to know I’m in your corner; you’ve got a friend in your corner."

"So, I text back, I go, ‘Who is this?’ And it’s like, ‘Elizabeth Hurley.’ Of all the people to reach out to me in that second that maybe I needed most… this friend who made me laugh," Billy Ray added.
"If all we ever were [is] the friends that we are, I would take that. She’s so impressively brilliant. She reminds me a lot of Dolly Parton. She’s a very smart businesswoman."
