Kristen Bell makes unexpected sex admission about life before marrying Dax Shepard

Kristen Bell has made a surprising admission about her sex life prior to getting hitched.
The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star, 45, tied the knot with comedian Dax Shepard, 50, back in October 2013.
Their big day came six years after first meeting, in 2007, before getting engaged two years later.
They share two kids - 12-year-old Lincoln and 10-year-old Delta - but despite being happily married for over a decade, Bell seems to have some 'regrets'.

She spoke about them on her husband's podcast, Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, where Shepard told co-host Monica Padman and guest Justine Lupe: "Kristen is a little regretful, she was very active - she was very sexually active and she wishes she was even more sexually active."
Bell, who also appeared as a guest on the episode, added: "I just wish I butterflied around a little bit more."
That was in reference to how many times she got freaky under the sheets during her 20s, and she was then asked to rate herself on a scale of zero being a 'virgin' and 10, a 'sex worker'.
"Four - and I just wish I maybe would have gone six," she noted, before Shepard interjected to question whether she would have preferred to be around the six mark.
"Yeah," Bell replied.
It isn't the first time that Shepard and Bell and disclosed information about their sex life - much to the concern of their children - having done so when Drew Barrymore was invited on the pod last year.
At the time, a rumor was spreading throughout Hollywood that the two were 'swingers' and had hosted several 'swinger parties'.
Shepard went on to address the allegations surrounding their private life, admitting the speculation led to even his and Bell's friends texting them asking: "How could you not have invited me to the swinger party?"
He noted that they were joking because they knew they were 'not hosting swinger parties', while adding that the two of them actually found the whispers 'very funny'.
While just this summer, Shepard posted a snap of Bell nude attempting a handstand while wearing just a pair of bright blue knee-high socks in the garden.
Of course, sensitive areas had been censored out, and it was uploaded in celebration of Bell's 2025 Emmy Awards nomination of Outstanding Lead Actress for her role in comedy series, Nobody Wants This.
Captioning the post, Shepard wrote: "People might not know everything that happens behind the scenes in order to create an Emmy nominated performance like Kristen’s. This may or may not have been a part of her training, but it felt right. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!"
Unfortunately, Bell didn't go on to win the award, with Jean Smart bagging it for her performance as Deborah Vance in Hacks.
