It's been reported that social media users in China are sharing pictures of Kris Jenner as part of a new viral trend in the country.
The US reality TV star rose to fame after starring in Keeping Up with the Kardashians from 2007 and quickly became household name in celebrity culture across the country.
Of course, Kris in known across Europe, but you wouldn't expect the businesswoman to be heard of in China, for example.
However, the social media personality has somehow found fame on Chinese social media apps such as Weibo and RedNote, with users sharing images of Kris as part of a trend for luck and fortune.

Social media users are not just sharing pictures of Kris to their story though, but instead making the reality TV star their profile picture in a bid to obtain great success with their career in particular.

But the trend doesn't stop there however, with some people editing images of Kris to match their career ambitions. For example, if you want to be a builder, you'd have builder Kris as your profile picture.
TikToker Marcelo Wang, who's familiar with the social media space in China, said: "Kris Jenner is one of the hardest-working businesswomen in the US, and Chinese people really respect hard work.
"Cosplaying Kris Jenner is like a Gen Z funny way to manifest success."
The bizarre trend has been spoken about widely online, with some joking that making Kris their profile picture has made life a whole lot better.
"I was literally about to have a mental breakdown last night, then I switched my profile picture to Kris Jenner – and suddenly, I feel like I'm slaying," one person joked on TikTok.

Jenner herself has even responded to the picture trend after commenting 'you're ALL doing amazing, sweetie!!!!' under Wang's TikTok video discussing the latest Gen-Z trend.
That is of course a reference to perhaps Kris's most famous line from Keeping Up with the Kardashians back in the day.
According to a report by Business Insider, some 99,000 posts about Jenner have been uploaded on the social networking site RedNote, with those posts believed to have been viewed a staggering 53 million times.
Douyin, China's version of TikTok, has also seen a ton of Kris Jenner posts in recent weeks as social media users jump on the latest bandwagon.
It will be interesting to see whether the trend reaches the west in the weeks and months to come.
