Kanye West reportedly paid over half a million dollars for experimental dentistry that was designed by himself.
It won't come as a shock to anyone that Kanye West and ‘implants that are like nothing that has been done before’ are in the same sentence.
He’s a man that doesn’t really do things by halves, and his most recent money-move was reportedly spending $850,000 on titanium teeth that include palladium and platinum materials.

And the strangest thing of all?
His teeth are all still in-tact.
The implants are known as ‘fixed-prosthodontics’ and he designed them with the assistance of medical and dental experts.

A source told Page Six: “They are, as the name suggests, fixed and permanent, but this goes way beyond veneers or grills.
“And his particular implant is quite unlike anything that has been done before.”
He worked alongside the so-called ‘Father of Diamond Dentistry’, Dr Thomas Connelly, who manufactured and fitted the dentures.
The rapper took to his Instagram Story to show his 18.7 million followers his new look, comparing himself to James Bond villain Jaws, who had similar metal implants in the action films.

Dr Connelly spoke to the Daily Mail about the rapper and his new creation, saying: “Ye was a pleasure to work with at every step of the process.
“His vision for designing unique art transcends the dental progression.
“The marriage of his vision with dental science has created a new look that is epic.”

The ex-husband of Kim Kardashian has had a long history with his teeth, after revealing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2010 that he had replaced all of his bottom teeth with diamonds.
Low-key as usual, Kanye.
He told the host: “I just thought that diamonds were cooler.
“It’s certain stuff that rock stars are supposed to do.”

And it looks as though his eldest daughter, North West, is following in his footsteps… in more ways than just one.
North posed with some new dental jewelry this week on TikTok, where she creates videos with her mega-star mum.
Her flashy diamond look was similar to one of Kim’s in 2021, where she had teeth covered in opal and diamonds.

There was also a clip circulating of North performing at one of her dad’s gigs, debuting a rap feature that is set to be on Kanye’s new co-album with Ty Dolla Sign called ‘Vulture’.
With a mum like Kim and a dad like Kanye, it’s looking like North’s possible career options are pretty limitless.
