Kanye West still has a mind-blowing net worth to fall back on, despite having once lost $2,000,000,000 in just 24 hours.

It's fair to say West, who legally changed his name to Ye in 2021, has been at the heart of some controversy in recent years.

And in 2022, West and his then-wife, Kim Kardashian - who share children, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm - finalized their divorce settlement following visible cracks between the couple's relationship.

The 'Gold Digger' hitmaker was ordered to pay $200,000 in monthly child support costs - but that's a drop in the ocean compared to the insane $2 billion loss West reportedly lost in just one day in October that same year.

Taking to Instagram at the time, the rapper announced the eye-watering damage after several of his sponsors cut ties with him over his anti-Semitic comments, as well as when he wore 'White Lives Matter' T-shirts at his Paris Fashion Week show.

The situation quickly spiralled for West as he lost his billionaire status overnight.

Adidas declared it had 'terminate[d]' its partnership 'immediately' after West had boldly claimed he could 'say anti-Semitic s**t' without Adidas dropping him.

He also wrote on Twitter that he would go 'death con 3 ON JEWISH PEOPLE' - a statement which resulted in him being locked out of his account.

Gap, Balenciaga and CAA also declared they would no longer be associating with him, though Adidas was probably that hardest pill to swallow, with Forbes reporting that the sportswear brand accounted for $1.5 billion of his net worth.

At the time, the producer said he was just 'two months away' from declaring bankruptcy.

Now, and almost three years on since the fall out, West appears to have clawed back the whopping sum.

The 47-year-old announced to his 20.5 million Instagram followers that he has accumulated a staggering net worth from his music portfolio and his own clothing brand, Yeezy.

He shared a message from Eton Venture Services, which read: "In 2025, Ye's net worth stands at $2.77 billion USD as confirmed by Eton Venture Services.

"The valuation is based on his music portfolio and his sole ownership of the Yeezy mark."

Although he shared the screenshot, Ye apparently had little to say about it, simply captioning the post with: "LAA LA LA LA".

Speaking to TMZ last year, the 24-time Grammy Awards winner said he poured 'everything' into Sunday's $7 million Super Bowl advert for his fashion brand and to promote his new album, Vultures.

The outcome of which landed him $19.3 million in the bank while Vultures shot to number one in 100 countries.

He also revealed he moved to Italy with his wife, Bianca Censori, which is a whole other controversial story.

But the artist remarked: "We moved to Italy. We moved to the factories, and we survived. We survived through the cancellation. We're back number one."

When asked if the controversy had helped him, he replied: "It wasn't about the controversy. It was about being able to say how you felt out loud.

"If I didn't have the various skill sets of music and clothing and the fanbase, they would have been able to destroy me. But because we had all those skill sets, somehow I'm here inside of this universe able to fight."
